When in Rome...... If a Rome GA aWffle House, I'll chow down on grits. Not that crazy about them, but i'll eat them for the hell of it. Rome NY- I'll take toast or hash browns. Joe Pesci is a real funny guy trying to eat grits.

Turning down lapdances and getting lapdances from multiple girls
Many times, it boils down to a numbers game. It's your money to spend, you are in control on how much you spend, and when you spend it. Even if dancer is attractive enough for lap dance consideration, you're naturally going to pick the more attractive/compatible dancers for spending your hard earned $$ on. Except on very slow shifts, how many of us mongers buy dances from every dancer who approaches you ? Then numbers/timing games can turn around and bite you when faves get tied up, and prior turndowns are your only available option. Don't sweat it, she'll be glad to take your $$, may even pull out the stops to make sure you pick her next time.

    OT: Car Advice?
Screw it, go ahead and "Midasize" it ! Really, if paying a shop $$ to install a new muffler and some pipe are going to break the bank, then maybe you have no business club mongering. For me, skipping a club visit or 2 will make up for the repair bill. "Doesn't require specialized equipment": I'll cut you some slack there, because a welding torch, and associated safety gear aren't exactly everyday stuff, like a screwdriver and wrench set. I don't own welding equipment, and haven't seen that many in the neighborhood. OP said he has very little auto repair knowledge. The time /cost spent getting the right tools and parts (probably multiple back and forth trips) would take more than 1 muffler repair to recoup cost of equipment. In over 4 decades of car ownership, I've owned 10 cars, 5 of which I kept for over 100K miles, 2 for 75K or so miles. Over the course of 4 decades, I've only had to replace 5 mufflers(on 2 different cars), the last 1 happening in the mid-90's. Feel better now ?

    Pittsburgh or Harrisburg?
As for Harrisburg- be aware that the airport with airline service (MDT) is actually in Middletown, located several miles southeast of Harrisburg on the other side of the river. Either option entails sluffing it extra miles to get to desired spots.

Ever been accused of being a racist based on what type of girl you prefer?
S-man; Interesting breakdown. My breakdown wouldn't be too different from yours, except I'd rank Asians almost level with White/Hisp. As for Indians, are you talking the SW Asia country kind, or the group referred to as Native American ? If the former, I could count the numbers of those I've encountered on the finger of 1 hand. If the later, I'd pick a lot more than 1 out of 30. Honestly, I don't think one could accurately peg the ethnic/nationality group on several occasions. One dancer who I initially thought was Hispanic was actually Persian. Many dancers are "mutts" (in a good way) to varying degrees. I just let my little head do the thinking when choosing dancers.

"Storm only moving at 1 mph". That's the bad thing, meaning it will hang around and dump more rain on top of the already flooded areas. Sharkhunter, I heard that joke over 30 yrs. ago, only in that version God sent a canoe, a motorboat, and a helicopter.

...... she asks for prepay in clubs where prepaying dances isn't customary. The number of fingers I'm holding up on 1 hand now are the number of prepay dancers in the past 20 years whose dances were worth a shit.

    Hourly, Salary or Commission ?
Addendum: My "worldview" holds that the company owns your ass in a salary only* job, the job owns your ass in a commission only job, while a base salary plus system shifts the control of your life somewhat back into your court more. * I recognize that there may be some profit sharing incentives in some cases, but the salary is the meat of ones compensation.

    Hourly, Salary or Commission ?
Retiree here. Most of my prior life had a base pay system, with provisions for extra pay above base depending on how much extra work you did. I also experienced a commission only system, and a flat salary system in prior jobs. I preferred the base pay plus system.

OP has started numerous threads in past few years trolling for detailed info in numerous cities outside his KS stomping grounds, yet has only returned the favor ONCE (Mons Venus 2015 review) out of the dozen plus fishing expedition threads.

    education time!!!
I guess the line between whether a person is being exploited or not would be whether or not conditions are fair or unfair. Like pornography, I can't precisely define it (fair/unfair), but I recognize it when I see it. I think most people with an ounce of humanity, or common sense in them can too, without consulting a rule book

    Classic pole or twerking
    C) Neither. For starters, I don't go for the stage shows, but for laps/VIP's. That said, I view the stage shows as an audition for future spending particularly how well dancer interacts with me and others at the tip rail. I prefer the slower, sultry style, but can also appreciate good pole/floor moves. The thing is, very few dancers are REAL GOOD at either. So many times I see dancers mindlessly spinning around pole, or twerking because they can't think of anything better to do. This is at about the same level as just swaying aimlessly against the stage mirror, back turned on customers. I'm fine with some demographics preferring either, but don't get so wrapped up with it that you (dancer) ignores the crowd so much. Despite my being a female booty fan, I find twerking to be marginally more appealing than watching paint dry or listening to a Tom Bodett Motel 6 ad. Combination of being so common, so unoriginal, and, yes, low class. If Founder ever decides to put up a "Top 40 comments category", I think subramans' comment about butthole presentation belongs on that list.

OT I always thought Florida was a state with dangerous weather
Figures lie and liars figure. Try using per capita property damage payments, and the list will look different. Several states listed in weather deaths studies are lower income than average, thus more trailer parks, and flimsy houses. Also sparsely populated states have fewer and more distant weather reporting stations, and thus less likelihood of adequate warning and up to date info. Try getting a homeowners insurance quote in Nevada, and some of the states listed vs FL, then get back with me.
