I saw last week they still said open til 2am on their Facebook posts, so I wondered if they were just ignoring the curfew.
It’s not about the pandemic, it’s about scapegoating and punishment. I don’t expect the curfew to be lifted

There aren’t *that* many strip club hotspots in the US, so it’s probably easier to saturate the market than we think.
When I was in Texas (far north of San Antonio) I always wondered why I saw very few Mexican girls working. Still not really sure.

I like a two piece bikini with sideboob or a tight party dress. Anything else gets in the way of checking out the goods. I’m not a fan of fishnets or corsets.
I freely admit I’m a total caveman when it comes to this stuff.
If they do have to wear some clothes, I’d rather see their best civvy outfits. Though I guess that would kinda make it hard to tell the dancers apart from the female customers.

I think the number of clubs in Austin has gone up by a few. Of course, Austin has been growing at an insane rate every year for 20 years.
Out here in the midwest, we don’t all live in Detroit or Chicago. My area lost half its clubs in the past 10 years. I think we’ll lose a couple more by the end of this year.

I think a lot of clubs have moved to $25 or $30 already. Then you have the chains who upcharge $20 extra for full nude dances. Also a bunch of “get X dances for $100” where X is usually 3 or 4.

You have to give them your ID. You might happen to find a club with a door guy that skirts the rules, but it’s not good to let lurkers reading this have a wrong impression about what to expect.

The curfew doesn’t matter for day shift extras but it’s really, really, bad for the non-extras clubs. I’m not sure if the West MI clubs will even bother reopening.

Bitcoin’s value holds as long as it doesn’t get banned in too many countries. The US government can’t block transactions from occurring, but for now they seem satisfied knowing that the vast majority of transactions are easily traceable. All that said, I own some BTC and I’m going to continue holding.

If I wanted to move to Austin to party, I’d expect to spend $2500/mo for a 1 bedroom downtown apartment. If you have peace of mind spending that much then go for it.

I’m not an optimist about the long term future of clubs, but they’ve been a lot more resilient than I expected. When clubs were open between the first and second wave of shutdowns I met quite a few college age girls new to stripping. Not every girl wants to post nudes online, even the 8-10s.

I will admit I spent too much money on one girl back during the first wave of bar and club shutdowns. I knew she was the equivalent of a ROB but she was just way hotter than any porn star.
IMO the whole phenomenon of Instagram models created a business opportunity that OnlyFans captured perfectly.
Then you have recent events with PornHub that basically banned their whole original business model and now all they can do exist as an ad supported copycat of OnlyFans. I expect the same thing to happen to all the other free porn sites one by one over time.

I got on OF because of an IG girl advertising her page. For whatever reason it feels less scammy and risky than signing up for an individual porn site. I think of it the same as dropping a few bucks on stage for the hot girl who’s too busy to give you dances.

I went to Vegas around this time last year. There were indeed some 9s, but was hard to sit back and appreciate them when the 6s and 7s were like piranhas constantly trying to hustle me. I’ll probably go back though.
Dallas is more my style. Maybe Houston too, but I haven’t been.
I’d like to go to Toronto or Montreal post covid, but they aren’t talked about much on here.

This isn’t really a factor for me. I’ve had a great time with new girls, occasional girls, and “seasoned” girls. I’ve had plenty of ROBs in all three of those groups as well.
If I think about the girls I’ve spent the most money on, they tend to have a similar profile: they work at multiple clubs, they travel a lot, and they work odd jobs and have some kind of residual income from a side hustle. They tend to hit the club hard for a few months and then step back for a while.
On this board I always have to disclaim I’m not an OTC or even a big extras guy. So I guess it’s easier for girls to lie to me about what they’re doing if they want to.

Northwest Indiana is under a 12am curfew but other than that it seems to be business as usual at the clubs. The dancer/customer ratio is like shooting fish in a barrel right now since the Chicago girls have nowhere else to work.
