End of the day I feel like these programs are PR projects and little more. They may help recruit a few more talented non white American programmers to polish their numbers a bit.
When it comes to women and underrepresented minorities it's a pipeline problem.

If you disable iCloud, Location Services, and Screen Time, Apple is decent and the latest iOS actually has good privacy improvements.
