Apple today announced a set of new projects as part of its Racial Equity and Justice Initiative (REJI) to help dismantle systemic racism and advance racial equity nationwide.
End of the day I feel like these programs are PR projects and little more. They may help recruit a few more talented non white American programmers to polish their numbers a bit.

If you disable iCloud, Location Services, and Screen Time, Apple is decent and the latest iOS actually has good privacy improvements.
