Well your lovely governor-ette came up with a new rule that shut the club down at 10:00 PM last night. It was about 8:00PM, they called some of the senior dancers aside and gave them the news. As of 10:00PM the place closes.
Girls were in panic and we don’t know all the details. We heard it may continue until March, but do not know for sure.At 9:55 PM all the lights came on and we all had to leave.
When I got the news at 8:00 PM, I scooped up two for a double header, and spent a good hour playing.
Time to leave this Winter Wonderland......

last commentAll those curfew rules make no sense in my mind. Going to places and in talking to bartenders when my state had a 10pm curfew in place establishments were MORE crowded and less social distancing was being observed.
The bartenders said that people even had a tendency to binge drink more. Hell, I was at a wedding reception where come 9:30 the bartenders were handing everyone 3-4 beers each since it was "last call". Our curfew is now lifted and the casino I visited last weekend was MUCH less crowded at the time I went than two weeks prior.
Politicians are idiots and have no real grasp of actual human behavior. Maybe someone should take Big Gretch to the Flight Club one night and get her liquored up so she could get first hand experience..... film at 11.

I saw last week they still said open til 2am on their Facebook posts, so I wondered if they were just ignoring the curfew.
It’s not about the pandemic, it’s about scapegoating and punishment. I don’t expect the curfew to be lifted

No the FC does exactly what their attorneys say to do. When the FC reopened on 01 February 2021, the law was to stop serving food at 10:00 PM, so they did that. Was told they still had a valid casino license which enabled them to serve drinks and stay open until 2:00 AM. Yesterday’s ruling (just came out yesterday), but they obviously didn’t want to let the afternoon dancers know. All the dancers told me they wouldn’t have bothered to come out for only 2-3 hours.
An appeal is already in the works, and some hope that the 10:00 PM closing could only last a day or so. But I think that is wishful thinking.
I think the politicians hated the fact that we were all having fun again.

I didn’t know about the casino thing, interesting.
Some of the Vu clubs have been keeping their regular hours, so I don’t know what they’re doing - I’m guessing they stop selling drinks at 10PM and just keep the doors open after almost all the customers have left.

Closing early means cheesesticks aren’t getting eaten, and nobody likes that.
