A big problem still hanging over our heads is fuel costs, if/when gas goes back up to $5 and stays there, a lot of people’s working class lifestyles become unsustainable because they literally can’t afford to drive to work

I think the most likely future is a system like Canada, where escorting is the main thing. Strip clubs will be allowed to exist under basically the same restrictions they have now.

50 solid engineers should be plenty to keep the site running. When tech companies over-hire, they pick up a lot of incompetent dead weight, but they also make it impossible for anyone to rise up the ranks if they’re not the middle manager’s buddy.
I don’t think I would wanna be there right now, but if you’re an ambitious young guy who was never 100% on board with the woke stuff in the company, this is your chance to be a hero and get noticed by Elon.
The main risk at this point is straight up active sabotage from insiders or just running out of money.

Going by what you’ve said here, I think you should go against the grain and go to Windsor. Full nude, enthusiastic lap dances, plus the USD/CAN exchange rate is great right now and should continue to be so for a while.
I only hesitate to recommend because I haven’t been since covid so I don’t know how much things have changed. Worst case is you wasted half a day crossing the border and back, and you still have money left over for the Detroit clubs.

When I was in Europe, I got the impression that big cities like Amsterdam had one American-style strip club for the tourists and that was it. Of course there were plenty of brothels that might happen to have a stage for the girls to dance on.
I’m surprised to hear that any strip clubs exist at all in South Korea or Hong Kong or Japan. Are these just hostess bars with bikini girls that guys are lumping in to the strip club category?

Big difference between now and 10 years ago is that everyone knows how to get a Google Voice number.
I also bet more girls these days just don’t care about giving out their number. It’s normal now for girls to post stripper pics on Facebook. The whole notion of strippers leading a double life is out the window.

If it’s an actual good club where the ugliest girl is still a 7, no it never really gets old for me.

College towns being very liberal has to be part of it.
Also in recent decades, small colleges heavily depend on tuition money from international students, mostly Indian and Chinese men getting graduate degrees in STEM fields. I saw this change happening in the 2000s and can’t imagine what it’s like now.
Austin has some OK clubs but it’s worse than Dallas or Houston. Maybe even worse than San Antonio but I haven’t been there to compare.
