I’ve stayed at both and would suggest Cascadas for your first time. On a Tuesday, you’re going to have more going on at HK vs Tropical. You’ll also be closer to all the other clubs if you want to stroll and visit them.

I have a trip planned for 4/8-4-10.
I have a friend that works for CBP. I’m talking to him tomorrow to see what it will mean if it happens. I’ve heard that if you’re a citizen they have to let you cross back. But I’d rather have that confirmed before I leave the country.

I’m concerned with the outrageous state and local taxes I pay and the complete disregard for the tax payer that our state and local government shows. Lived in California all my life and I’m looking forward to retirement in another state. Unfortunately my job is specific to where I’m at. The cost of living keeps getting higher, and what we’re getting in return as a tax payer sucks.
Our roads our crumbling, and the solutions we’re given are road diets and high speed rail that isn’t going to be high speed and runs between two towns not many people give a shit about. Our gas taxes are amongst the highest in the country, along with high vehicle registration fees.
Our elected officials are more concerned with keeping non voting, non tax paying homeless happy then keeping them off our sidewalks and out of pretty much anywhere else they can get access to. Almost every overpass, river bank, alley, or public park has been taken over by a homeless encampment. We keep hearing that the homeless problem is caused by our housing shortage. BULLSHIT!!! There are actually a lot of resources for people that are having trouble financially keeping a roof over their heads. Frankly, if your marketable skills will only pay you slightly above minimum wage, maybe you need to live someplace where you have a lower cost of living. Sorry, the point I was heading towards is that the homeless that are a problem are the ones with serious drug problems or mental illness. Many of my friends don’t let thier kids play outside or go to the park anymore because these fuckers are always around and you never know when one of them is going to flip out. They are aggressive and violent. You can’t walk down some streets anymore with out having to walk around piles of human shit and streams of urine. Los Angeles City Hall is in the middle of a Typhus outbreak because the homeless encampments have brought so many rats.
With such a housing problem you’d think developers would be lining up to build housing... not really. We have so many regulations and so much red tape driving up costs that there is no benefit to building affordable housing. Also, it takes YEARS to get all the permits and approvals. Most builders and developers have decided that new homes or apartments are just not worth it.
So yes, I look forward to the day when I can retire. I’ll sell my house for way more than the house I’ll be getting out of state will cost. I’ll enjoy my days without having a homeless encampment behind my rear brick wall, or bumper to bumper traffic.

I was 17 years old (1989) and we were celebrating my future brother-in-laws bachelor party. We went to The Wild Goose near LAX. All of his buddies were in thier late twenties and one of them gave me an expired ID. I got my first table dance that night by an ancient waitress that handcuffed me to the chair and molested me. That and a pitcher of beer made for an unforgettable first time.

It’s a crap shoot if they stamp your passport book. I’ve known more people that have not been stamped than have. If you are that concerned about the possibility of getting stamped then cross by vehicle. There are some services that will drive you across. If you go that route though, verify that they drive you all the way. I know with buses they off load the passengers and run them all thru customs then put them back on the bus. You could also just nicely ask the Mexican immigration officer not to stamp it. It couldn’t hurt. Just be honest (mostly) and tell them you were in San Diego for work and if your wife found out you visited Mexico without her she’d be sad.
The FMM is hit and miss also. They don’t issue them to people driving across and sometimes you get waved thru and sometimes they want you to get one. If you cross at Pedwest they will make you fill it out. At Pedeast they will fill it out for you.
I’m going for a quick run tomorrow afternoon I’ll let you know if I see anyone going thru without getting stamped.

I stayed there a few weeks ago. It’s a much nicer room than Cascadas, and I felt very safe there. When I checked in the receptionist at the front desk told me if I have any additional guests they would have to check in at the front desk and they would call up to confirm I was expecting them. Later that night when I went up with my dinner date we went straight up with no problems. That being said I’m pretty sure escorts are probably treated better than street girls, and it makes a HUGE difference if you are taking them up or they are going up alone to meet you in your room.
The other question that you should ask yourself though is are you looking to get Chicas from La Zona to your room at Ticuan, or are you willing to sleep there and then pay to go up with a bar girl at a hotel in La Zona. Bar girls are not going to head up to Ticuan while they are working. You’ll have to arrange a meeting when they are off if that’s what you want.
I’ve known a lot of guys that take thier laptops to Cascadas and never had a problem, but I understand your concern. If that’s a real problem and you end up staying on the US side stay in San Ysidro or Chula Vista to make the commute to the border easier. Staying in San Diego can add a lot of traffic and hassle to getting back and forth to the border.

I have experience with this as both a PL and someone who worked in a club.
First off, yes the club does make money off them. The club does not make money off you sitting there locking down a girl for hours at a time. When they do these 2 for 1 specials most of the girls usually do get dances. At the very least it’s a lot more then were getting them before. As already mentioned, these songs will be drastically cut down.
Now from the PL perspective if she’s all that then talk to her. If she doesn’t want to go up offer to get the dance or otherwise compensate her for missing the opportunity to make some money. You could also say “I understand, go work and I’ll hang out here till you come back”.
Keep in mind that she didn’t come to work with the goal of sitting there talking to some PL all shift. This is her job and workplace, and she’s not getting paid hourly. In order to make money she needs to hustle. In my experience if you keep that reality in mind it will be much appreciated.

Read all the reviews.
Don’t get out of control. Police presence was higher than normal my last two trips. Which is good, unless you’re drunk or acting like a fool and make yourself a target of thier attention.
Take your time. Although you may be shocked the first time you realize that this beautiful woman just asked YOU to fuck HER she’s not unique. They all will. Don’t let your little head make the important decisions.
Oh, and understand that you are going down during what is traditionally the slowest time of year. Good for your bargaining power, poorer for selection. That being said the Zona is still better than anyplace state side.

I’ve heard that Adelita’s girls will go to Ibiza also, but I have not confirmed that. There are also a lot of other smaller hotels attached to some of the other bars, but I would hold off on those for your first visit. Oh. And with street girls it’s a crap shoot. Some will go to your hotel, others won’t, some can’t if they’ve had problems at a given hotel in the past.
Have small bills for taxi and tipping when you cross the border. You can take the Zona Shuttle which is free and a nice ride, but you should still tip the guy. Even if taking a taxi $5 will cover you.

That creepy/douche vibe is an area of your brain that is telling you something is wrong/dangerous. We all have it and it should be listened to. Yes there are times when some people consciously ignore it, but it should be for a good reason, not just to show you’re not afraid.
A lot of predators out there that depend on thier victims trying to “prove” they aren’t afraid.

Just got back today. Went Sunday night, back and forth on Monday, and returned to the US today. All crossings were easy and uneventful. I was a little worried on Monday morning though when I was watching local news (San Diego Station). There was a big protest planned at the border for International Human Rights Day. My first thought was Shit!!! I’m screwed. My next thought was my buddies that usually come with me and didn’t this time because they were worried about the border will never let me forget about this.
Turned out to not be a big deal. The protest was on the US side, and there was zero activity on the Mexico side. Funny thing is they were interviewing some chick who was one of the organizers of the protest. Later that day when I was crossing back I saw her crossing over too. I kept thinking to myself, for her sake I hope she’s not well known to the locals. While I was there, there was a lot of animosity toward the caravan and the people associated with them.
