The guy Nicole references is NOT an Islamophobe because he is afraid of Muslims, where as the definition of an Islamophobe is a person with a dislike of or prejudice against Islam or Muslims, especially as a political force. He just sounds like an uneducated idiot, who has been influenced by popular media making generalizations about the religion.
By the way, that definition comes from an online source since the word has not been acknowledged by the "official" source for the English language, the Webster dictionary.
