Obviously "hot" is subjective, but the difference in quality is mind-boggling... at least from an aesthetic standpoint. I've seen girls that will have sex ITC for $100 and they're the kind of girls that I would not want to be seen in public with. Every time I read somebody bragging about "$100 pop" in someone's TRAILER I die a little inside.
Personally, I like whales. They make going to work awesome. The annoying people are the ones that tell me that they'll give me $50 for a BJ in VIP. The really pushy ones, that even when I say I don't do extras insist that I'm just trying to raise the price. I like to politely tell those people that I will gladly pay someone $50 to kick them in the dick.

@earltee - Probably not, but superbugs or not I will do extras for Cillian Murphy, Ryan Gosling, Bill Skarsgard or Dane Dehaan (in case any of them stumble upon TUSCL). They could have all of the extras.

@ilbbaicnl - What, the $1 dances? Yeah, we use to do them when I worked at the Hustler Club in Baltimore. It was kind of fun, kind of weird. I didn't mind it. It was easy to sell VIP time to people afterward.
I'm a lingerie person, I don't want to wear gowns but I also don't want to wear weird neon stripper outfits and it bums me out that I can't just wear lingerie to work.

At the Papermoon in Springfield they rank each girl by the amount of VIP time sold and the top ranking girl doesn't have to put in a schedule for a month.
When I worked at Candybar there was a weird kind of stripper beauty pageant we had where we got titles and I've been to the Entertainer of the Year awards at Pure Pleasure but that's about all I can think of.

@Che - Yeah, but there's only so much finger wagging you can do. As a dancer, you make a lot of money, but starting from the bottom in regards to what to do with it is tough (which is why SW can be useful). I blew through 20k before I was like "Uh...maybe I should be smarter about this."

The sex industry is a breeding ground for misandry and misogyny. "Does anyone know any wealthy dancers?" I doubt that's so much a valid question as much as it is someone trying to reassure themselves that the women he pays for sex are lesser beings (which is why I assume he's always stressing how little he pays them). I know wealthy retired dancers who didn't make their fortune from sucking dick and wealthy escorts that did. Who cares?
Even Alucard's comment up there has a tone of contempt for the dancer Gawker was talking about, as if it's completely ludicrous that someone would have managed to save up a quarter of a million in a 10 year period. The general opinion of strippers is that we're all drug-addicted whores (and there are some, yes) just as the general opinion of strip club patrons is that they're all pathetic losers.
It's really a shame that sexuality is still so taboo there's so much emphasis placed on it in regards to your worth as a person. God forbid anyone realize that we're all just people that like getting it on with other people.

I feel bad, I think this post of @dalex's was supposed to be inspirational. Clearly he just didn't know I was a girl --and more importantly, didn't know that if I WAS male I'd be a man of distinction and my ATF would be in pristine condition and have that new ATF smell.
