Gawker, thanks for this post. I share your perspective, and I suspect the vast majority of folks on here who enjoy sex worker services have some level of respect for them as well. There's a minor bit of misogyny evident in some TUSCL threads, but IMO it's the exception and not the rule.

I've mentioned TUSCL a few times to strippers. Most had never heard of it.
When I first met a popular dancer who is frequently mentioned in a club's reviews, I said, "Oh YOU'RE _ _ _ _?" Explained where I'd read about her. She was offended by being mentioned so often on this site. She said she had been married a couple times, and the mentions affected her marriages. Told her I'd never mention her, and I haven't. Been tempted many times though after great GFE treatment over a few years.

I'd have to agree. I learned a couple interesting things about strippers related to your question. I've been told by a high percentage of strippers that they are bi-sexual or lesbian. They admit enjoying strip club jobs for the fast money, AND so they can be around naked women.
Second, I've been told by a large number of strippers that they masturbate often, even multiple times a day. Some enjoy porn more that I do, and send me links to their favorite videos. LOL!

Ahh, the elusive "Porn Star Experience" (PSE). For me, getting anywhere close to PSE depends on my partner.
