Ahh, the elusive "Porn Star Experience" (PSE). For me, getting anywhere close to PSE depends on my partner. No, I don't think the value in porn is as an instruction manual nor do I see a lot of value in trying to recreate anything on there. We tend to go for some of the out-there artsy-fartsy porn or even the fantasy animated (sometimes computer 3D) stuff. It's just a tool for foreplay and arousal. Nothing more.
One can last 30 minutes but you cannot "pound away." One needs a slower pace plus one needs to consider one's partner's continued arousal (or at the very least how) to keep her lubricated and fully engaged.
