There are no clubs near my home and I only visit strip clubs while traveling. The other day I stopped in at the first club I ever went to nearly five years ago. It hasn't changed much but it got me thinking of all the clubs I go to, of all the options I have when I'm out, how long might I continue to stop in this little strip club?
If the first strip club you ever visited is still open and you are still able to visit, do you still frequent that club?
If I'm in town I might drive by it. The last time I went was years ago, at least 5. It was a dive bar the first time I walked into it. Now it's set up like a gentlemens club and lot of the old charm is gone. It's the only club near a touristy area, so it still gets a lot of foot traffic last I saw.
My first club was Thee Doll House in Myrtle Beach. Only been there once. Hope to return at some point, and get a dance from the gorgeous first dancer I ever talked to. Stupidly, I turned her down for a lap dance because I didn't know what a lap dance was. Another dancer later initiated me. LOL!
Where I Iive there are not that many clubs. And also pressing responsibilities have most always kept me on a short tether.
So mostly I've gone to the same 3 alcohol clubs. I don't drink, but because other people do, these clubs are cheaper than the no alcohol nude clubs.
But now one of them, the Sunnyvale Hip Hugger, is gone. A major loss as that was the most talking oriented club, where they tended to have the smartest girls.
I live in NYC and the first club I visited was in the Eastchester section of the North Bronx, a run down area in the outskirts of the city. As soon as I turned 18 I took the 5 train all the way to the last stop and walked in to see the first naked woman I've ever seen. It was amazing and still to this day I visit that same club. Every time I step in the club I always get great memories of my first naked woman, lap dance, and happy ending ;-)
My first SC was back in MS when I was under age. Shortly after graduating high school I went into the Army. Roughly 14 years later and the beginning of the hobby, Eden would be my first.
I remember my first visit there because it was full nude. I know I went crazy for this one dancer and ended up giving her my number, she never called. TUSCL and visiting other clubs I would never or rarely visit it again. I now know I can see the pussy at just topless. Also, there is little to no mileage/extras at this club unless you're paying the $150 30min. cabana. Also, this club doesnt have a membership/VIP so each visit is $10 or so with a mandatory drink (non alcoholic) which water is like $5!
No, it was 21 years ago and the place is long since out of business. It was a disgusting place. I don't really have good memories. (link: https://www.tuscl.net/postread…)
First I visited, "The Organ Grinder". Still my favorite name for a club. It was a club (different name) off and on for years, and I went a few times. never was a favorite stop. I don't see a club listed at the site any longer. I think the last review I saw of that site was by Papi.
Never, the first club I visited closed I believe. Several clubs have closed or been shut down by cities. As far as the doll house in myrtle Beach, I am familiar with it. The original doll house location shut down too. They purchased the crazy horse and then changed the building name. Several years ago there used to be a lot more stripclubs in South Carolina. Then the prudes must have taken over and they've been attacking and shutting down strip clubs left and right across the state. South Carolina need to loosen up their laws to keep this part of the tourism business alive. I read many golfers no longer visit Myrtle Beach anymore.
Maybe this is a national trend so South Carolina hasn't suffered a lack of business much yet. If so, this trend sucks.
The first strip club I ever visited was shut down for "lewd acts," became a liquor store and failed, reopened as a teen club and failed, reopened as a church, they moved out, was torn down, empty lot for a decade, new building was built for an Italian eatery - failed, remodeled into a spa (ladies only) - failed, torn down for a "light rail" station - that ended up across the tracks, and sits as an empty lot today.
So - - -no, I don't get to visit my first club, but - if it ever reopens, I'll be there!
I think the first club I visited was Thee Doll House in Myrtle Beach. I'm not sure if I will ever go there again. I haven't been to myrtle beach for 16 years.
No way. This was at a small club in San Francisco, and before the invention of the lap dance when strippers made less money than waitresses. The stripper on the stage was in her late 30's, overweight, and was working with a guy in a bathing suit (what's that about?). I took me decades to get over my fear of strip clubs. But after entering Mitchell Brothers around 2000, I noticed that strippers were now young, and had the toned bodies of athletes’ in their prime. During my first lap dance I felt like I died and went to heaven.
I don't think Shadow's first club he ever visited was Follies.
The first club I ever visited was a shithole, I haven't been back since I was there the first time. I hadn't done any research on clubs back then, so I just went to the club that was closest to where I lived.
First club I ever visited was in 1991 shortly after I turned 21 - it was Dean's Gold in North Miami which back then used to go by Solid Gold - IDK if the club changed owners when it changed names but the club was pretty-much the same b/f and after the name-change (upscale w/ above avg dancers and pretty-much the same layout from what I remember).
I visited shortly after turning 21 and was in awe at the beautiful naked women; went back a week later b/c I was so in awe - but after that never went again b/c I did not have the $$$ and was busy w/ other things and thru the 90s I went to SCs just a handful of times.
I lived in Dallas in the 2000s but would come down to Miami 2x/yr on vacation but would not hit this club since by now I mostly just hit black clubs and some Latin clubs.
I went again about a year or two ago - the club is nice; upscale w/ a good # of dancers and nice looking ones; but it's not really my speed/niche thus I don't have a reason to visit although it's a nice club and I recommend it to those that like upscale clubs w/ mostly white and Latina dancers.
There was a newspaper article that the club's land had been sold a while back then a while later the building itself was also sold - it is speculated the new property owners may want to build something else in that location such as upscale condos or shopping plaza but for now the club is still going.
Fight Club was pretty much the first club I started going to regularly. I was there about a month-and-a-half ago. I might have to go back and check it out, I hear Trixie's giving it up for a $100
"... Papi ... Have you been to the club South of Stir Crazy on the west side of US1 on 87th Ave lately .,."
Do you mean the one that used to go by Playhouse that at one-point you were the only-one that had reviewed it? - then it became a black club who's name I forgot and then became The Office Falls (another black club) - I don't get down that way much but AFAIK The Office Falls was never really a hit and there was a shooting/murder there along w/ other issues and AFAIK that club is no longer (not listed on TUSCL) and IDK if there is another club there now (I assume not o/w we would have heard by now since The Office Falls has been closed for a while now).
The first club I ever went to was the Admiral Theater in Chicago and I only went there 3 times after my first visit, and the last of those was 1999. It was always a long trip from the west suburbs to Chicago and moving to Omaha only made it longer. With what I know about strip clubs, I doubt I would go there even if I could walk.
That's the place. I did a TUSCL search on 87th Ave and nothing. When I checked the link you posted, "ALERT: The Office Falls has been reported as CLOSED" popped up. Guess it's done in this iteration of the club.

Now, since coming back to clubbing (11 months, last september), I've been going to the same club. I go every couple months or so. I like it. I wish I could budget to go more often but I enjoy it when I can go.
Corvus, a large percentage of the people on this forum have been going to strip clubs for decades. But most of these have since moved out of their original area.
Thanks to shadowcat for identifying the place where his first TJ visit, the subject of his article occurred. It makes for interesting reading.
Candy Store in Phoenix, something like 35 years ago, LOL... I live 2 miles from it, went there back in August (my lone review), and haven't been back. My CF dances there if she can't get a ride to her main club; I'd go to the Store to see her, but otherwise... nah.
Once a year or less. It is women-friendly, but sometimes (according to TUSCL reviews) you get extras for a starting price of $1000. Other TUSCL reviews say no extras for $1000, just talking. I've found better places since that don't cost as much as a car in 1 night.

I think you mean this club which you reviewed January 4, 2012:

Yeah time will tell if something else pops up in that location.
My first local club in Columbus is a dump. My first regular club Columbus Gold is currently a lame Scores franchise.
