If she walks away smiling, you spent too much.
^^SJG - And also you might just hand her some money and try to make some kind of a compliment.
No. No. No. Hopefully you're not serious. That is near the top of my biggest gripe list. This doesn't happen that often thankfully, but I get annoyed when asked for a tip by a dancer that I've just rejected. I know I'm not obligated to tip in that circumstance but I feel pressured into to doing so.

One of my goto clubs in PG County Maryland has no A/C (it has no heat either, other than one of those flame-thrower type space heaters, so it can get kind of brutal in there in the winter too). My CF there always apologizes for sweating so much. It can get particularly uncomfortable in VIP since there is zero ventilation in there. Last night was particularly bad. The dancer I was with commented that the temperature was the worst she'd experienced in VIP. She was sweating profusely by the end of the session.

I don't normally ask for extras but if the dancer makes an offer first, I've been known to counter with asking if she is LEO or with the Liquor Board. If she replies no, then I figure we're OK to move on.

As others have stated, as long as you don't act like a jerk you should be fine. If you're nervous maybe make a trial run during the dayshift. Some of the AA clubs in my area don't have a dayshift. The one AA club I go to on a semi-regular basis I am consistently the only white custy. It's not a big deal as long as you don't make it one. Good luck. Please report back.

If this review is for early Sunday 6/16 he's right that it was never this crowded on any of my previous visits over many years. I was there from about 9:30 til 12:30 - 12:45 which is about as late as I can make it :)
As the evening wore on there was no place to sit, which is kind of a hassle b/c the club isn't that big to begin with. So you're always in the way of, or bumping into, someone in a situation like this.
IMHO they ought to lower the cover back to $20 if you show up at 2 or later and they close at 3. $30 is a rip for one hour. The ATMs there are a rip also (10% surcharge). My pro tip is to get your money at Wawa back out on Route 1. There is no service charge there, only what your bank charges you (just recently discovered this fact).

I'm fine. I'm disgusted with my life and myself, but I'm not unhappy about that.
Nice review. Thanks for posting.

Wow. $40 to get in on the first visit. $70 for VIP entry. $60-$70 per song in VIP. Who pays this? This seems pretty unreasonable to me.

I'm thinking you probably did confuse Millstream with Showcase. Based on your stated preference I think depending on the night you *might* have enjoyed Showcase, with the caveat that it's pricey, esp. in comparison to EI. But Showcase isn't open on Sundays so you would have been shut out. I enjoyed your comprehensive reviews of your trip to our fair area. Please comeback again sometime and post more reviews.

Somewhere in the club
Find the club's name in whatever city it's in, click on the club's name and scroll down to the bottom of that page. The first option is "Add a Review for "X" Club". Click on that and post away.

@papi - Thanks again for another informative review. I wish some of the locals on this board would post such detailed reviews of the clubs in the area.
Two questions:
1) Were you the only non AA custy?
2) Were the upstairs dance prices negotiable?

Thanks @Papi for the informative review. This place has been on my list for a while. But I couldn't ever see myself going there solo as a whitey. Now I may have to rethink that.
@captainmellow - there's a weigh station on I95 South where it hits I495 (a.k.a. The Beltway) probably 15 miles from EI. Truckers do park along there. The nearest actual truckstop is probably 25 miles away from EI in Jessup MD. That's too far to reasonably Uber, IMO.

Having been there before, Archibald's is certainly not worth losing your career over. He should have hired a ride out to the PG County suburbs...lol. But seriously what a dopey thing to do. I feel sorry for the guy.

As an addendum to my review, I would not consider this club to be in Baltimore. I guess the Postal Service does. But if you're not a local, technically this area is called Curtis Bay and is probably a good 10-15 miles from "downtown" Baltimore where The Block is located.

Last fall at Desire in Baltimore there was a smoking hot dancer whose name escapes me. She had a large dream catcher tat on her upper leg. My guess, from her skin tone and the tat, was that she was at least part NA.

^Bummer if that's true about Royal Palace since DC strip club licenses are now non-transferable IIRC. Once you're closed, you're closed. This means one fewer option in town.

A general question on this topic. How do you get a hotel room under an assumed name. Even if you're paying cash don't you normally have to present some kind of ID with that name on it...regardless of whether it's in TJ or somewhere in the states? Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks and sorry for hijacking this thread.

@DC9428 - No it was in Northern Va.
@Warrior15. - You're right I don't think anyone was paying attention to the TV. Thanks for the input about asking mgt to change the station. It really wasn't a big deal b/c there were several other TVs tuned to other sports channels.
