Thanks for posting Bman. What was the crowd like? With a couple of notable exceptions, my experiences in the pre-pandemic past were that the majority of the Latina dancers tended to speak very little English other than "wanna dance?". There were always plenty of Latino custies so they were able to keep busy. Not being bilingual it made for a difficult time for me to procure a dance and keep track of the number songs in case there was a discrepancy.

Notably the TV report omits the fact that the incident happened at a SC. They story refers to it as a "nightclub", which I guess technically it is.

$40 a song for an air dance? Seriously? Wow. Good luck with that. I might also quibble with it being not hard to find, even if you know where Showcase is. Thanks for the update @Hazzard01.

Despite the recent counsel of a one-time dancer at EI to not go there, I was in the general area last night (4/9) and decided to check EI out. This was my maiden voyage there. I should have figured something was up, since there were no cars in the back at shortly before 9. I went inside and was told by the cashier that no dancers were working. Apparently something must've happened forcing them to discontinue, at least temporarily, with dancers. The kitchen and bar were open so I ordered a $6 Miller Lite and joined the half dozen other patrons drinking and/or eating or watching Despicable Me 2 on the TV. I finished my beer and called it a night. EI will have to wait for another day.

Wow. This review is incredibly depressing, as Showcase had been at or near the top of my pre-COVID rotation. After 13 months, I was hoping for some improvement in the men's room at least. Oh well. Thanks Shortie for posting this.

Briana Banks at The Ritz Cabaret in Fells Point section of Baltimore (not The Block, for those who are not familiar with the area). Was not there to see her. I had been in town for work and wanted to kill a couple of hours before heading home. She danced and sold DVD's. She wasn't a great dancer IIRC.

All will start eventually. NFL, NBA, MLB will not finish. NBA in particular due to the rising number of cases in FL (Bubble or no bubble). NCAA Football will likely be in the Spring. Just my $.02.

Good information. Thanks for posting. $221 for 30 mins VIP at Cheerleaders is certainly an interesting amount. I wonder what the logic is in such a strange figure. Also I wonder which is the better bargain there in LD $150 for 15 minutes or 3 songs for $75. I would guess the latter, especially if you get complete songs.

The nearest TK to me never actually opened. They went bankrupt during the buildout and wound up being sued for the many thousands of $$ owed to various contractors working on the place.

The late Brass Stables Nashville TN in 1994 or 1995. I was travelling by myself on business. At the time I had only ever been to clubs in Washington DC where there is no such thing as a lap dance. I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. I LDKd fairly quickly then made a beeline to the men's room and back to the hotel.

Generally accurate review. Could have used some additional details about costs. I would add to the parking warning to also not park in the auto repair place to immediately to the left of the club. They have begun towing recently as well. If Showcase's lot is full, your best bet now is to park around the corner on Herzel or go a short way farther down on Old Baltimore in front of the building just past where all the dump trucks are.

Re: your comment about liquor or lack thereof. When I visited in January I asked about liquor. The gentleman behind the bar said they never had liquor, only beer, wine and sake.

No. It was the first time I had ever been to a club where FS was apparently available. At that time the only local SCs I patronized in my area had no extras on the menu. I was travelling in a nearby state. I couldn't work out the logistics in my mind of taking her back to my hotel and then getting her back to the club.

Excellent review. My $.02. There are actually 3 VIP areas. The other one is to the right of the bar area in what had been the DJ booth back in the day. This area has 2 spots separated by a curtain. The back one of the 2 is better because you're more isolated. The other thing I would say is that there is a $30/song topless option in VIP. Either way, topless or full nude, VIP is pretty pricey.

My advice would be similar to Bavarian's. I have next to no OTC experience but IMHO there are too many obstacles to overcome on this one for it to be successful for you.

My two goto clubs don't serve any alcohol/liquor. One only sells sodas, H2O and Red Bull. The other sells nothing AFAIK. You can bring your own. I don't generally because I'm fearful of getting pulled over on the way home. Plus at club #1 my CF is a recovering addict/alcoholic so I try to be respectful of her situation. Coming out of club #2 recently I was pulled over for having a burned out taillight. Thankfully I hadn't been drinking that night. I was sent on my way with a verbal warning.
The one time I tried to bring a beer into club #2 I was shot down at the door because I had a canned beer. I didn't realize you had to have your drink in an unmarked, plastic bottle. I almost always bring a bottle of water with me to club #2. One time a dancer told me that I was the first custie she had ever seen drinking a bottled water. I thought that was odd. But who knows?
