@jackslash - I recently was getting a private dance in the VIP area of a local club and the dancer said she was a germophobe. That was a first.

VIP Fail...How Would You Handle This Situation?
^^Makes sense to me. I was probably overthinking it, as I often do. Thanks Papi, I appreciate your insight.

^^I might be misreading what is occurring, but It seems to me like they have to report the number of dances once they leave the VIP area. They always head back to the bar once they have completed their dances. I have seen a notebook in the bar area where you pay your VIP entrance fee. IDK.

^^To clarify a couple of things. You pay the dances at the completion of however many dances you get. Also I agree Papi that she wouldn't be bypassing the credit card charge. But to me it seems like she could somehow under report the number of dances and pocket the difference since there is no money trail except on her phone. Maybe I'm wrong on that.

I misread the topic. I wanted to learn more, like if this "Apple Play" was a new fetish in the VIP area...lol

    Tipping help
^@tiburon At one club In my area $40/song is the rate for all nude in VIP plus an additional $20 to get in to the area. I did this once for 2 songs but would not likely do it again. It's way too much $$ for anything less than a 9. The only redeeming factor is this is a BYOB club so you haven't had to buy a $20 drink for the dancer too. As to the original poster's query I think he's already paid the tip if she charges $40 for $35 dance. I would consider bypassing this ROB next time.

    Compliment from a stripper
After a series of 4-5 dances in the private area, she said she was in her zone during the dances. I take that as a compliment. Hopefully I helped get her there.

    2AMer results in club closing.
This makes two SC incidents in less than a week in good old Prince George's County. https://www.tuscl.net/postread.php?PID=21808 I sense the long arm of LE about to crack down on the other SC's in the county as public nuisances or something along those lines. Note to GoodOldSouthernBoy... McDoogal's is in a different county from where all this recent "activity" has gone down.

    Who needs guns?
Damn. And Hangar Club isn't really in the 'hood like a number of the other clubs in PG County. The post doesn't state if the "ladies" were dancers or customers. I'd bet on them being customers given that this club is usually guy dancers at this hour. It will be interesting to see how this plays out since one of the participants is underage. Will the club lose its liquor license or even be shut down entirely? That has happened elsewhere in the county at a bar near University of Maryland following a stabbing involving underage patrons.

    my experience
I ssem to be in the minority on this board in that I believe you should tip no matter if it's LD, PD, VIP. It seems to me that it makes you comee across as less of a jerk. Who knows? At the club where I frequently go the prices are set by the club so no negotiating is necessary. The LD is done in an open area off to the side of the stage you pay $20 for top on or $30 for topless. I generally tip $5 for top on and $10 for topless. No touching the boobies however in LD area. You can slap azz though if that's your/her thing. Only one time was the subject of a tip ever brought up by the dancer. I would have tipped her anyway(see above) but this was a little off-putting because it was like she expected it. And it was the first time I'd ever had dances from this dancer. VIP is totally nude and you can touch the boobies in VIP, but not the kitty. The VIP area is $20 paid in advance to the house and then $40 per song to the dancer after the fact. Only ever went back there once and tipped $20 for 2 songs. So the total outlay for 2 songs was $120 which is kind of pricey considering I don't believe extras are available at this club.

Looking For Suggestions For A Club In/Near Baltimore...Not On The Block
IIGBD: Not owning a GPS I ended up getting lost :( I'm not from up that way & don't know my way around Harford Co./Balt. Co. to well esp. at night. I ended up at Showcase in Beltsville which is my "go to" SC. I recommend it if you're in PG.

Andray Blatche had several brushes with the law during his time here in DC. I'm sure the court of public opinion would find him guilty in this case just because of track record.

Pasties v. Topless, Part two -- Alcohol is Involved
I wouldn't assume anything about the quality of the dancers based on whether the club served alcohol. I think a person is likely to go to a place where he is comfortable regardless of the beverage selection available. My personal preference is a club where you BYOB. BYOB IMO makes for a less stressful evening because you don't have to be pressured by the dancer's drink hustle. It usually makes for a higher cover but the total outlay over the course of an evening is going to be far less in a BYOB establishment. My two cents.

10 Mistakes Guys Make at the Strip Club
I agree with no credit card use. I try to avoid that where possible. My experience in 2 clubs in WV is that these clubs also required that a copy of your driver's license be made when paying with a credit card. I get this from a business standpoint. They're trying to minimize the potential that the card is bogus or that you are not the actual cardholder so they will actually get their money. Nonetheless it's still disconcerting esp. when it's a YMMV situation.

If she asks, do you have to tip in advance of a private dance?
Thanks to all the commenters and esp. Papi_Chulo for your comments. They are appreciated. The club in question requires pre-payment on the dances at the first floor bar before going to the second floor where the private areas are located. It was at the private area that she hit me up for the $100 tip. It was my choice to pick 6 songs. Lesson learned on that. As a follow-up question, if you only commit to one song at first do you lose the opportunity for the "volume discount" i.e. the first song might be $30, but two songs might be $50 and 3 might be $60 etc since you have to pre-pay?

Is the procedure with beverages still that you have to fill your cup outside and come back in with the drink in their cup and leave the can/bottle outside?

Unless things have changed, I was under the impression from recent visits that VIP was $30 to get in (it had been $20 once upon a time) and then $20 per song. IMHO that was a good value. I hope it's not $30 per song now.

Goodness! $600 for 30 mins. That pricing is nuts IMHO. Is the champagne included in that price? Or do you pay extra for that? And do you tip beyond the $600 as well? And here I thought Showcase in Beltsville was pricey.

Do they scan everyone's ID? It's clear you're a regular. Why do you have to have your ID scanned on each visit? I'd be interested in checking out Fantasies sometime. However I am leery of this whole scenario. At one club in PG that I semi regularly visit I was scanned once maybe 3 yrs ago. And never again. I actually don't know if they still scan people because I've never had to wait behind anyone to pay the cover.

    Thursday Night at Showcase
I'm curious if you paid "full fare" in VIP? At least a couple times I've been with Central American dancers who hit you for a full nude dance price in VIP ($40/song) but only go topless which is supposed to be $30/song. The dances were good. But I guess if there is a next time, I need to do a better job of holding my ground on the price.

At $40 per song in VIP your money disappears quickly. On the plus side, there are no overpriced dancer drinks here.

^^@wallanon...no I have not seen a bald guy there. There is no clapping for the dancers. As for the furniture, it's still pretty meh. Some, but not all, of the couches in the front were replaced. It is definitely not an inexpensive place.
