I see a lot of funny posts that I would like to prop, just as a "thanks for leaking me laugh" type of thing. Sure, I can post "lol@whoever", but there could be an easier way to say thanks for the laugh.

Not so sure Slick. Growing up in the South, I had as many black friends as white, and some of them are like family to this day. In my experiences in the south, people are people. Sometimes stereotypes prove true, sometimes they don't. But I haven't seen true hatred racism. We interact normally for the most part even if we are all wary of the other at times. I've met more true racists from the northeast than I have in the south. I was really surprised at that bc I've always heard how liberal and advanced they are up there. Again, there are exemptions to all stereotypes. You'll not see the south looking the other way when 30 black churches are firebombed anymore. History is what it is, but we can all change.

I'm sure I could stop altogether if I had to. I get the urge every few months and generally keep myself in check. The times when I really get the urge is when I'm traveling for work. I hate sitting in a hotel room at night by myself watching stupid shit on tv just to pass the time.

I've done that too. The dancer never looked at me and stayed at the other end of the bar the entire set. She might not have seen the money I had laid out, but I still felt like it was a little rude. I didn't get mad or anything, just politely picked it back up and used it for the next dancer who came my way.
