Some strippers want to earn their money dancing on stage, not doing dances. I'm friends with a few strippers who are like that and I've been called and asked to meet them and hang out with them when they weren't on stage so that they didn't get asked to do any dances by other customers. I still pay the cover charge and I still tip the dancers on stage and the dancers still pay their house fee. Why should the club owner not want those dancers working? They still earn money for the club because they're pretty and guys come in to watch them on stage.
Other strippers are the opposite. They want to do nothing but dances and they do everything they can to avoid going on stage. The club owners also earn money from them even though they only go on stage once or twice a night at the most.

I've been called by strippers and asked to meet them at the club and hang out with them several times so that they could chat with me all night and not talk with any of the other customers. They only wanted to dance on stage, they didn't want to do any rooms. I was drinking water too, not buying any drinks. I did tip every dancer on stage, but that was all I spent.
Some times the dancers are avoiding us on purpose. How do I know? I've been used as their "shield" to protect them from having to talk with other customers several times.

She's amazingly beautiful, that is one lucky 17 year old!
And yes, she's a teacher and she was in a position of power over him when she started flirting with him. He was in a situation where if he would have wanted to say no it would have been very difficult for him. She should have been required to register as a sex offender, the same as a male teacher.

Except in small towns, strippers can go by their real first names and in small towns most of the customers know them anyway. How many women named Tiffany do you know? I know several, just knowing someone's real first name doesn't tell you who they really are. I can give out my real first name all night long and none of them will find me outside of the club.

Strippers earn a ton of money but it's a short lived career and most of them don't plan ahead so when they can't strip any more they're 35 years old looking around trying to figure out where they'll be when they're 36. If they plan ahead, financially it's a great short term job to get them started in life. Otherwise it's a trap.

I've done it a few times in private rooms and it's always been initiated by the dancer. Buying them a drink and watching the bartender mix it to make sure that it's strong enough makes sure that their mouths are clean too.

Two of my favorite clubs have both men and women dancers. They don't dance in the same room so who cares? Every now and then I'll see one of the male dancers in the part of the club where the women are dancing but they're always fully clothed so it doesn't matter.

It also depends on the club. At one club in Pittsburgh wearing a suit will guarantee that you'll get ignored because no one who goes there wearing a suit spends money according to the strippers. At a different club in Pittsburgh, the opposite is true.
Dress for yourself and don't worry about it. If you can afford it like farmerart can, follow Alucard's advice.

There are a few reasons why people sell profitable businesses, just like there are lots of reasons why people quit high paying jobs, and I've personally seen all of them.
• You want to retire
• You want to do something different
• You want to move
Being a small business owner is a 24x7x365 "job". Even when you're on vacation, you're still on call and no business is as profitable with a manager running it as it is with the owner running it. Strip clubs are mostly cash and the majority of their sales are services, not physical goods so it's very easy for the employees who are handling the cash to steal money meaning the owner is going to want to be there watching the money every night that the club is open.
I can understand the owner of a strip club wanting to sell and it's easier to sell when profits are high than when the club is struggling. If the prospective buyer is borrowing money and doesn't have enough cash to buy it outright, it's easier to get a loan when the club is earning enough of a profit to cover the loan payments than when it isn't.

Keep the amount that you loan her small, make it an advance for the next time, and make sure that she agrees that it's an advance on the next time. The important part is keep it small.

I know a few strippers personally and they're all complaining that the money isn't what it was 2 years ago. This isn't the, "I need the money...." crap that a lot of strippers pull to try to get us to spend every last penny on them. This is them talking over coffee or chatting with me on Facebook, and I've never gotten so much as one lap dance from half of them so they know that I'm not going to start now. This is them being honest. People aren't spending as much in strip clubs as they did 2 years ago.

I'm in the Pittsburgh area and I'd say that it's less than 1/3 here. The number who have sex for money once is much higher, but the number who have sex for money more than once a month is less than 1/3.

@shadowcat I know one who is a prostitute who is supporting her parents. She lives with them and pays the mortgage and all of the bills. Her parents have to know how a 22 or 23 year old woman without a college degree is making a $3k a month mortgage payment.

I tell the truth, I do computer programming. If they ask more I tell them that I work from home, which is also true. I get to work in shorts and a tshirt which keeps the conversation going.

Not all strippers have sex for money. I'd say most of them don't have sex with customers, but the ones who do earn a lot more.
