My experience with Cheetah's is limited to one outing with a few friends. I wasn't impressed with the talent and the mileage seemed low (I didn't actually try a dance, didn't seem worth it).
When it comes to NYC there are a few clubs that are just known to be consistently good and always draw large crowds, and then the other clubs seem to get the scraps for the most part. Obviously the best talent is going to want to work in the clubs that draw in the larger crowds (which is often wall street folks etc. who spend a lot). Flashdancers is one of these places. It's almost as if they have a monopoly here in some respects, but it's still a good club where you won't get ripped off as long as you don't go for the private rooms. Lap dances here are about as good as you're going to get in Manhattan.

Maybe she isn't dancing currently. Honestly in many clubs you can probably just ask the manager if there are any days she is scheduled. It's possible that she is just taking a break as many girls do.

I have not been to either city but based on everything I've read Houston seems great for strip clubs. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Maybe it varies from area to area but honestly once you are sign as a customer at the club - you do not seem as someone necessarily desirable for them to date. It's not true for all dancers, but many dancers want to date guys who do not go to strip clubs. It may sound hypocritical, but that's what I have observed.
That isn't to say I haven't had my share of OTC - some even 'near' free (as in no cash actually exchanged). But that is not the norm, and you definitely can't just expect a real relationship to blossom out of this.
If all you want is P4P then you can certainly get that (how easy it is varies from area/club) - it may even be better than 'dating' them when you consider everything.

Your first mistake was going to Cheetah's.
If you are in Manhattan, go to Flashdancers. Use a CC for drinks if you must but don't go to private rooms (not worth it). Use cash for lap dances at $20 a piece. Find a girl willing to give good mileage.
If you are in Queens, go to Gallaghers 2000. Same as above for the rest.
There are very few other clubs I would even bother going to in NYC. We have many clubs here but most of them are shit, Cheetah's included. Luckily the few good ones deliver decent (or even great) experiences.

Not really my type, but objectively speaking I'd have to give her a 6.5-7 perhaps. Not a bad looking woman at all, and I can totally understand how some guys would probably dig her. Personally though I'd probably not spend much (if any) money/time with her depending of course on who else is available.

She is relatively cute - I had higher hopes when I saw the picture but then was a bit disappointed from the video. If she had a prettier face I'd like her a lot, but since it's just "so-so" I have to give her a 6. Maybe she'd be a little better in person, especially if she had a fun personality.

I've never heard of this practice before - but it does not surprise me because clubs do try similar tactics at times. Naturally, cover charges are higher at night - often tiered in a similar way to above. But there's even worse stuff some clubs do. For example, on a not so busy night in one club I know for a fact cuts the songs to about 2 minutes, maybe even a bit under. So you kind of have to get two dances for the same length of enjoyment...needless to say I do not go to the club on those nights (they don't usually have a good selection of girls then either).
Now is the club you speak of actually busier after 2am? Or is it not so busy, and they're trying to make up for that by letting the girls command a higher price for dances?

I don't know what it is, but her face looks better on certain angles to me than others.

I don't think she looks old - and if she is in fact in her 30's she looks good considering that. Definitely not too old to strip as I've seen older looking girls in clubs and they do just fine.

Since you asked, gallaghers 2000 in queens would be a good bet because there is no cover charge in the daytime or early evening and i didnt even notice a drink minimum being enforced. Also the mileage is good. Not amazing, but among the best for nyc.
For $150 it is also possible to find decent asian escorts innyc if you want fs.

Often times the pictures are fake or perhaps similar to the girl but the girl doesn't look quite as good in real life. Usually it's not a setup to get mugged/arrested, but that can happen too sometimes.
Some backpage ads have links to TER (TheEroticReview) reviews that match up with the ad, and those tend to be legit.

I would open a club called GSV's Cabaret here in Manhattan with a focus on having the highest quality women and lots of emphasis on private rooms which are available at affordable prices. Most private rooms are exorbitant in Manhattan, but if some place offered cheaper rooms I feel they would drawn in a lot of people. If extras are done in these rooms I would probably look the other way for the most part, but it would not be part of any official offering.

Clearly depends where you are but I am not surprised it works in some places. Try doing that in a trendy bar/lounge here in Manhattan though, and you'll either need to offer something in the $xxxx range or get slapped on the face.
I can't imagine good looking girls agreeing to $50 unless they are in some sort of extreme financial difficulty, or they're just an actual hoe in disguise.
