Often times the pictures are fake or perhaps similar to the girl but the girl doesn't look quite as good in real life. Usually it's not a setup to get mugged/arrested, but that can happen too sometimes.

Some backpage ads have links to TER (TheEroticReview) reviews that match up with the ad, and those tend to be legit.

Oh, the picture is really Melon Girl, or at least appears on several websites with her name attached (Google image search is your friend), but as noted, it's fairly common practice on BP to use a picture other than one's own, even if it's not a sting or ambush.
