I do have to add that I have sympathy for some of the posters, though. I know that many people now check their email and surf from their phones, so the texting abbreviations and shortcuts understandably creep in. I started out determined that I would make my texts and emails readable, but--damn--those little keys and all that clicking once, twice, three, or four times gets old.

Agree with art and other posters that conversation will often seal the deal. Hey, rfcookie, a 7 who can keep a decent conversation going and can be playful will probably get into my pants (and wallet) faster than you'd think. We are not asking for hours of yakking. Those guys are cheap asses. But two or three songs of good conversation often leads to 10 or 12 dances. That's a decent investment on your part.

I toured a federal prison a few years ago and was amazed at the babes that showed up for visiting time. One even showed up with a mink coat over a lace teddy. Must have been a mob boss's girl. I think there are very interesting things going on in the visiting room, and the guards can't catch it all, and probably don't try to. The only standard might be if other families have children and nearby a girl tries to mount her "benefactor". The only new twist here in this story is that they are bringing them in as "paralegals".

I like to find a good, clean, somewhat upscale club with consistent 5 activity and some girls in the 6-8 range with looks. If you can get that with a good price and little up-selling, that's probably about as much as I can expect from my area. I note that there does seem to be a gap between the categories of 5 and 6 on this scale, and have not been offered anything, even though I had carved out a niche as a regular at a few clubs. Even when I was pegged as so-and-so's customer, I didn't get anything offered. So it would be nice to stumble into a club around here where something in the 7-9 categories was available or where OTC was a realistic possibility. But I just don't think that it is a possibility.

If his defense is that he was too intoxicated to authorize such a bill, then I ask: was he too intoxicated to operate a motor vehicle? If he somehow got himself home by his own devices, I'd think that would erode his defense that he was too drunk to understand all of his CC charges. On the other hand, if the club sent him home in a cab (doubtful), was that an admission by the club that the guy was not aware of his own spending? He should ask for an itemization.

I agree with (gulp) Dougster. It does seem that this site has more than its share of retired military, GOP, jingoistic, libertarian, xenophobic, nationalistic types. Seems like the other side is represented, sporadically, by potheads and IT nerds. As the election gets close, there will be more off-topic posts about Obama's birth certificate, Nancy Pelosi's alien love child, and the boners they have for Boehner. And I will choose to not read them.

mrs. mOOt, thanks for your level-headed comments. As you can probably guess, I'm just a bit on edge, for perfectly understandable reasons. You are correct, that there are two sides to the story, and you have heard mine but not my wife's. I'm sure she could bend your ear. But given the context I gave you, I will stand by my original statement that she "takes delight in knowing her husband can't get anything." I suppose when one is a tea-totaler, it is kind of funny to watch an alcoholic suffer through trying to find a drink anyway he can. And fail.
Since I am a tenant in my own house (not literally, but figuratively), the FWB angle does have some appeal. Right now, about the only thing I can manage is an infrequent day trip to a SC. But with little money, that's about out. Thus my irritability. The next dumb-ass telemarketer will probably get their ear blistered, however. Thanks for bearing with me.
