Dancer Jealousy@ Papi: After I posted my comment above, then I noticed you had responded as well. Your comment is SO true!!! I was talking to a dancer recently who has a day job as a hair stylist. She said that the same kind of shit goes on between the women that work at the salon as in the dressing room of the club she dances at.

Dancer Jealousy@ Lopaw: Another Lopaw classic ("Now back to your . . . "). I just love your wit, my dear !!!
@ Dain: Women take their wallets out of their purses to use them. When a woman discusses using her wallet, she's not likely to mention that she first had to take her wallet out of her purse. You've been a TUSCL member since 2003 and you haven't figured out that Lopaw is for real ??? By looking at your profile, you've probably even seen Lopaw at one of the club's you've reviewed, several times.
If TUSCL readers have noticed, I rarely criticize anyone in my posts, although I've felt they deserved it. This time it was warranted.

PL RecognitionI had an "almost" of what you described. I was enroute to the now-closed Honey's in Everett, WA. My usual route took me past a Babies R Us store. I quickly misread it as "Boobies R Us."

Dancer JealousyTypical stripper jealousies and trash talk. I've had lesser examples of the same thing. Just chalk it up to strip club experience. At least they both know they have competition. I've always felt it's important to regularly remind my faves, in some fashion, that they have competition.

How do you make a living?Retired now, but city planning was my career. I had knowledge of where strip clubs would be allowed. An early project was to write an adult entertainment ordinance for the city I worked for. (My lone TUSCL article comes from my career work.)

Job Well DoneSorry folks, but we here in Washington state have so many fisherwomen and freshwomen that it was just so necessary to spend our legislature's time to act accordingly.

Puget Sound Region Deja Vu Clubs -- Cameras Removed@ Alucard: It's just my speculation that dancers will assume their normal level of "mileage" for the time being. I could be wrong. I sense that there may be some patroling, or visual(human) monitoring of the dancers in the lap dance booths. At the Lake Forest Park Vu, the d.j. can easily see the lap dance area out on the floor as well as the VIP room. The d.j. booth is between the two areas. The d.js. there have been known to help count the dances given by each dancer, in the past.
@ Dougster: I think the Vu clubs have had cameras long before the "Big Raid" of June 2, 2008. The dancer that told me this, thinks it's to better compete with Pandora's.
I'll be anxious to hear from other customers as time goes on.

Reading between the linesThe only one I can add is the typical, "Can you come in and see me tonight (at the club she works)?" The later the hour that text comes, the more it means there are no customers in the club, and/or she's not getting any dances.

Being Stood Up by Strippers@ duo: It's not a regular occurrence. I've learned to recognize a potential stand up. I'm aware of end-of-the-month-need-for-rent-money, and other similar situations. I reported in an earlier thread that I was successful in getting a cheap OTC right before Christmas.

Sudden reconnectionsExp, your second and third sentences, prompted me to start a separate thread on this subject: "She was open to OTC so got her info and over the next few months tried to set something up several times. Each time she flaked out leaving me inconvenienced."
See: Being Stood Up by Strippers.

1st time at the strip club.1. Resubmit your story as a review.
2. Your experiences were perfectly normal. We've all had those things happen to us in the various clubs we go to. Choose a different club for your next outing. Keep experimenting with different clubs, different days, and shifta. It'll get better.

I'm now in a possession of a stripper phone.A dancer once asked me to hold her phone for her while she went on stage. She was anticipating a call from her babysitter. So, I took posession of the phone, but I was seated where she could see me. I did have some wild thoughts about what might be in that phone.
I'd love to have access to the phones of some of the dancers I've known. However, the only thing any dancers have ever left behind in my house or car are some cosmetics and a very sexy 36DD bra from Victoria Secret. I still have the bra, which is now in my OTC "lost and found."

The Daily CustomerIn Seattle, at the now-closed Rick's, there was a nightly customer. (I certainly noticed him every time I was there at night.) However, he did spend some money each night. I was told by one dancer that he was a local attorney, with an office in the Greenwood district in Seattle. He'd always sit in a remote area of the club (near the mens' room).
He only got the on-the-floor $20. dances, whereas the VIP room dances were $30. (Maybe he couldn't walk that far from his seat. He wasn't very ambulatory.) From what I was told, he only got dances from new dancers, because after he became known to the established dancers, they wouldn't want to dance for him. He was well into his '60's, I'd guess. He had long white hair combed straight back (maybe in a pony tail), and definitely heavy set--a somewhat strange-looking character. I've since seen him at Pandora's, and he walks with a cane now, but I don't know if he appears nightly.
Do any of you long-time Seattle TUSCL members (Dougster, RicksFan, Poseidon, Chanel, Skeets35, TheMightyQuinn, Trojangreg, others) know who I'm speaking of? I was always curious about this guy.

How to juggle Favorite DancersFarmerart's, Sclvr's, and Hugh's comments all remind me of a current TV commercial where some guy is juggling chain saws, while they're running.
However, I've been able to successfully juggle multiple faves. It just takes money. When I had several faves in the same club at the same time, I'd make certain that I got the same number of dances (usually four), from them. They were all happy with that. I even encouraged them to get to know each other. I like it when all of my faves know each other. (Even though that seems contrary to usual logic. It has worked well for me.)
But now, I'm in a different situation and I have to watch my club spending. Like Victor2 said, "play their schedules." I'm able to do that. At one club I have three faves. Fortunately they work different enough schedules that I can go in when just one of them is in, or two, and even all three. So, I plan my trips accordingly. (And, I can get all three for OTC when I want to.)

SummertimeIn the summertime, in Seattle, I don't really need to go to a strip club to see nearly naked, voluptous, pretty girls. Three of Seattle's strip clubs are on the same street, within a three-mile stretch of each other on Lake City Way/Bothell Way (the name changes at one point). But, just a couple of miles southwest of there is Green Lake. It has a 3-mile paved multipurpose trail completely around the lake. On a nice summer day, walking around the lake, you'll see hundreds of young, voluptous, pretty girls in only a little more clothing than dancers would wear in the nearby strip clubs. And it's all for free.
