Sudden reconnections

So last summer i met this cute spinner at a club. She was open to OTC so got her info and over the next few months tried to set something up several times. Each time she flaked out leaving me inconvenienced. So I finally just deleted her and moved on, forgot about her even. Until last week, when out of the blue she calls me. I don't mean text either, she actually called. The number pulled up on my phone as "private". I answered and it was her. She wanted to "get together". I told her it wasn't a good time for me to talk. She said she'd call back a little later. I was like uhhh ok. Shoulda just said don't bother but I was recovering from the curve she threw me.... It really bothered me that she called me from a number that came up as "private". I immediately kicked into paranoid mode and started thinking she was part of a sting op and trying to lure me in to get arrested. I've heard the cops try to flip prostitutes sometimes to get at their johns. So she called back later and I just let it ring. She hasn't called back again. She was hot. I wanted to fuck her. But this was just too weird. I don't hire chicks from places like backpage but I do peruse them fairly often (mainly to see if any strippers I know are in that life). I see on almost every girl's page that they don't accept private or unknown calls. I presume because they could be LE. What do you guys think, am I too paranoid???

    My sense is yes – that you are overreacting. Strippers contacting you out of the blue happens all the time and is usually b/c they are hard-up for $$$ big time. I’ve read numerous posts on here over time about stripper contact out of the blue – happens to me every once in a while – but *never* have I heard a TUSCLer mention that he/lopaw got contacted by a long ago stripper and it was a sting.

    I agree with Papi that it is probably not a sting but rather a stripper hurting for money. After the way she treated you, I would just ignore her.

    Never hurts to be careful, in that lifestyle there is no such thing as too paranoid.

    Gut feelings go a long way with situations like that. Sometimes it just doesn't feel right for some reason, and its best to let it go.

    I get calls from dancers that are marked as "private" or "restricted'. She probably doesn't want her number known. Still I would exercise some prudence, can't hurt.

    You should've asked her where she is working at now. Make a visit to see her at the club, catch up, and make arrangements in person.

    I would ignore her or make $100 offer meet at motel. Doubt she would show. She is prob trawling for handout considering how she jerked u around. U need to find a dependable whore whether stripper, escort, or gal off sugar dating site. Find an extras club like penthouse. I have had no prob finding good whores here in Houston - strippers, SD site gals. I have three on roster right now I have been rotating. A real whore will agree to a time, place, amount and give u a real ph number. Quit wasting your time with some fake rob.

    Don't bother. 100% chance she's going to throw a sob story your way and ask for $ or use you in some other way. No other reason why she would call you now.

    The best way to be safe from 5-0 is just agree on how much $ and how much time. This of course will probably not work if you're looking for greek or BBFS. There is a better than even chance she will be OK with BBBJ and CFS. I'd guess there is a 90+% chance of at least CBJ and CFS. With this chick in particular, I'd say say the odds are much less than even you will ever have a good hook-up. Only worth the long shot if she's really that mega-hot to you.
