Deputies say drug, prostitution sting at Little Darlings strip club in Lemon Gro
I always had the impression that San Diego clubs were low on extras. The drugs don't surprise me, but it's interesting to note the prostitution charges here. The article doesn't state whether or not the prostitution offered would have been conducted ITC or OTC, so it's difficult to evaluate the extras opportunities there. However, this is one of three clubs outside of the San Diego city limits that are within the metropolitan area. Maybe those clubs can get away with a little more than the 13 clubs within the city. (Oceanside and Chula Vista being the other two locations outside of the city limits.)

    Pussy puffs a lighted cigarette
No vids to offer, but I did see a Caucasian dancer do that at a strip club in L.A., near the airport in the late 1970's. I wondered if she got cervical cancer in later years.

What would you do with this situation?
Why to we park expensive cars on our driveways, but keep tons of useless junk in our garages?

Samsung mentioned, "The traffic on 270 north in Columbus is terrible during rush hour." Why is it called "rush hour" when nothing moves?

I'm with Slick. I'll be sure to quote those studies to the dancers I'm with the next time I'm at my local club.

    Handicapped Dancers
Remotely related: There is a club in San Bernardino, CA that has a handicap ramp leading to its stage. The first impression is that it makes the stage available to dancers in wheel chairs. However, an explanation I heard about that is that the stage is also made accessible to any maintenance personnel in wheel chairs (janitors, construction workers, etc.) Inno123, could you comment on that?

I'm with Londonguy. Especially if you haven't seen her OTC before. In front of friends and relatives is the worst place to experiment with her conduct. How to explain a stripper in your life to friends and family is often very cumbersome.

    Block-of-time VIP Rooms
I like dances by time better than by the song count. Usually there's no argument about the amount of time that has passed. But, they're expensive, compared to what I pay for a dancer to come to my house for OTC.

    Major Turn-off
I concur with those of you who prefer non-smoking dancers. Smoking also causes skin quality to deteriorate faster. I know a dancer who is in her mid-twenties and smokes. Just this last year I noticed she now has "crows feet" extending from her cleavage (although it isn't discernible in photos of her). That doesn't usually happened to women until their mid-forties that I have observed.

Anyone enjoying much cooler than normal temperatures?
No cooler weather in Seattle that I can tell. The last couple of weeks, we've had high 70's to low 80's temps. That's typical for Seattle summers.

If it's raining all day, do you stay home instead of visiting strip clubs?
Here in Seattle, when it's not raining, people plan outdoor activities. Most of my clubbing IS done in the rainy weather.

Before I was aware of TUSCL, I mainly relied on www.stripclublist.com for advice, but, for the Washington state clubs, it's now a trash heap. I still look at it occasionally. When I lived in L.A., www.zbone.com is a very well-known site there, and likely more helpful to Southern California residents. Although I'm out of California now, I still look at it too, sometimes. TUSCL is not nearly as well-known in So. Cal as Zbone is. There are some other strip club websites that only cover certain regions of the country.

Are Strip Clubs going Down Hill?
I concur. I don't like strip clubs nearly as much as I used to, either. The recession hit here in Seattle also in 2008. Another event further dampened strip club enjoyment here: A multi-agency law enforcement raid that closed four UHM strip clubs here. The region still hasn't recovered. But, I believe that competition from the internet has had the biggest impact: Mucho free porn, escort services, and web cam actresses are cutting into leisure time and disposable dollars that were previously spent in strip clubs.

Another strip club in South Toledo?
I lived in an area once where there was a major land holder, whose family had owned a few square miles of land for over a hundred years. The land had since been developed into an upscale family-oriented suburb. The company had been duped into believing a restaurant building that they owned was getting a new lessee who would reopen the building as a first class dinner house. When company officials attended opening night and found it was a strip club and not a "first class dinner house," as they had been lead to believe, it went to court the next morning and got an injunction against the strip club. The club was open and closed over the next few months. After the club was forced to close, permanently, the company demolished the building! They said they did a structural analysis and the result was that it was infeasible to make structural corrections to the building. Yeah, sure. Watch the video news story. There are a couple of great moments: a.) At 0:23 - Even though I worked in zoning for many years, I didn't know that the term, "sexually oriented business" is known by its initials: S.O.B. The neighbors probably had great fun with that term at the public meetings. b.) At 1:30 - the "associate" of the property owner says, "One of the reasons why this lounge is being created so people who are concerned and don't want to be shot . . ." (As if there is a segment of the population that *does* want to be shot at.)

Let's just keep it outside the club
I like both ITC and OTC. Like others have said, not in the same day, usually. I enjoy both experiences. My ATF danced in Las Vegas. I'd travel there on four-day trips. A typical itinerary included seeing her at work one night, an OTC another night, and taking her out to dinner and a show a third night. There was just one occasion where I saw her ITC and OTC in the same night.

The portrayal of strippers in the media
Duo, Your observations are likely that the common stereotype is being portrayed. There have been TUSCL discussions before about movies dealing with strippers. One such film that I can recall, "Showgirls," from the mid-1990's portrays a Las Vegas stripper, who works her way up the entertainment ladder and becomes a Las Vegas showgirl. At least there's some job and life progression being portrayed there. For more, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Showgirls After I see "The Millers," I'll be happy to give you a further opinion.

    Regularship Has It's Privileges
Slick, Great story. It certainly pays to be a regular. That's the best example, where a crowd of immature, cheap PLs get ignored in favor of a long-time, valued customer. Just one suggestion: Make use of paragraphs. It's hard on the eye to read a long story without them. (I know. Before you started you thought you'd be able to tell it in one paragraph.)

Immediate odd situation - timely feedback. appreciated
I'm with Slick. It sounds fishy. I sense a problem if you agree to meet her at her room. If you originally agreed to meet her at YOUR hotel, then stick to your plans. She may be planning something you'll regret.

    It's been on mind.....
Motor, You mentioned that most TUSCL members have the following attributes: • Well educated • Above average income. Some, well above. • Well endowed (if you can believe everything posted) Your parenthetical comment is important, because these attributes come with one caveat: It's human nature to exaggerate successes, and downplay failures. This is especially true when the audience is faceless and nameless as is on TUSCL.

I hope they win this one. Then maybe we could get more and better looking dancer
That happens a lot. Cities try to impose burdensome fees to discourage strip clubs or their entertainers. Then the cities get "caught with their pants down" when they can't demonstrate that the cost of the fee is proportionate to the work involved in issuing the permit or license. I could maybe see a large initial fee, but in this case, Atlanta is essentially saying it costs them as much to re-verify an existing license as it does to issue a new license. Complete BS!
