    A little political humor.
I wonder how many late night comedians wish they'd told that joke! Good one, Shadow!

Speaking of shitty reviews (is this a shill?) ...
I did not see the two reviews above mine, when I posted my comment. After I made my post, I came back to the thread and saw that Papi and Sooner had commented.

Speaking of shitty reviews (is this a shill?) ...
It's not a very informative review. The only things it mentions that may be helpful to prospective customers are the Tuesday prices, new owners and managers, and that it doesn't serve alcohol. (The alcohol can be found in the club's checklist.) All the other statements made are purely subjective. The excessive use of capital letters and exclamation points is annoying, as you pointed out. It almost sounds like a club employee wrote it, but not quite. If someone knows if the three clubs reviewed by the poster, are owned together, than it may be a shill. Also note that those three reviews were posted within two days of each other (Oct. 5 and 6).

The Similarities Between A Hair Cut and A Strip Club ....
I go to a regular barber shop. A lot of them have women barbers these days. (Maybe I should refer to them as "barberettes.") I prefer that. Especially if they're young and pretty. The one that I go to now dresses like she's going out on a date. When someone is working that close to me, I much prefer it be a woman. There's only a little bit of an intimate feeing with a woman barber. I wouldn't equate it to a strip club, though. Also, I concur: The Strip Club Hound is a great blog.

    curvy dancers
@ berrystraw: By "curvy," do you mean BBW? A better description of yourself would help clarify your question and get you helpful answers. The usual connotation of "curvy" is a voluptuous figure. Clubs, anywhere will hire that figure type.

    Industry slowdown
All the above comments are excellent. I always point to these three factors when this topic comes up: In addition to web cam girls having gained popularity in recent years, two other on-line sources are big competition for strip clubs now--lots of free porn, and escort services. All three have bit into disposable dollars available for strip club entertainment.

If a dancer starts making you feel slightly uncomfortable after 20 to 30 minutes
To encourage a dancer to sit in my lap, I'll sometimes say, "Care to share a chair?" while I'm holding my arms out. (They get the hint right away.) It's the environmentally sensitive way to conserve strip club furniture. Why wear out two chairs when you only need one?

    What is worse?
@ lotsoffun: You beat me to it! I should have thought of that. That actually did happen to me (and the rest of the Puget Sound Region club-goers). The feds did shut down a chain of four strip clubs in 2010. Among the four were two of my favorites.

I was wondering which TUSCL outside of the U.S. would ask that question. I thought farmerart would be first.

If a dancer starts making you feel slightly uncomfortable after 20 to 30 minutes
Ask her to shift her position when it gets uncomfortable. Besides being a student of boobology, I've learned a few things about legs as they relate to dancers in strip clubs. For me, the most comfortable position to have a dancer sit my lap is where her butt is directly centered between my legs. If her weight is directly on one leg, then her weight gets transferred down to the femur, and that can get sore quickly (depending on her weight). If she sits centered in my lap, the weight isn't transferred to the femur. It's simply absorbed within the flesh of the inner thighs.

    Nipple Poke or Panty Line
As a skilled and seasoned boobologist, rather than using the term, "mipple poke," I'm acquainted with the term, "nipping out." A dancer I once knew would say to me, "Now look what you've done to me. I'm nipping out."

    Proposition in Strip Club
@ IronFox: It's probably not done in that many clubs anymore, but occasionally you'll find it. Another reason is just for the club's liability. Some clubs feel that a woman customer, without a man there to "protect" her is a safety concern.

    Proposition in Strip Club
Some strip clubs will not admit women customers, unescorted. That is one reason why.

    What's your number?
I know I could say that I've done OTC with seven different dancers at one club. I think three of them is the most I ever noticed worked together. In my situation, the dancers I know don't like other dancers knowing that they do OTC, so I doubt if they talk about it between themselves. (I don't care if they do, though.)

    Creepy Customers
Somewhat related: I was with my ATF in Las Vegas one time. We were at the Hooters Hotel, seated at the bar. She leaned over to me to tell me, "There's a guy staring at us, over your left shoulder." I took a quick peak only turning my eyes and with just a slight turn of my head. He was staring, but probably in disbelief that a guy my age could have such a young beautiful woman as a companion. I told her, "If I was in that guy's place, I'd be staring at us too." She looked so good that night, that she was upstaging the Hooters waitresses. But, the whole experience wasn't "creepy."

Ok to declline repeat offender during Dollar Parade?
Fortunately, Seattle clubs don't do a "dollar parade." It's interesting that this is the first time I've heard that there's a term for it. When I lived in L.A., some Orange County clubs did that. And, I recall it's common in San Diego. I hated that, and didn't even go back to clubs a second time, that conduct themselves that way.

    Feature acts
@ TT: So, that was recently! Teri Weigel seems to have been working as a feature dancer since she quit making porn. @ Others: For details on Mary Carey, including her 2003 California gubernatorial race, see: http://www.boobpedia.com/boobs/Mary_Carey It's interesting that most of us don't care for feature dancers. I'm with you on that. I went several times, in my early years clubbing, but that's because I knew who the features were. I don't keep up on today's "talent."

    Construction cost per square foot
Like Duo commented, I've seen several strip clubs open in former restaurant locations. Even a Spearmint Rhino. It's Santa Barbara, CA location is one example. (It doesn't make for a very good strip club floor plan, though. They tend to be long, narrow buildings. And things like the bathrooms have to stay where they are, which can make for an odd relationship of spaces inside the club.)

What Alucard said. Inno123 is our resident architect. He's written several articles on strip club design and construction. Definitely PM him if he doesn't respond to this thread. Duo is also correct. See Inno's profile at: https://www.tuscl.net/u.php?UID=214358 His articles: https://www.tuscl.net/u-a.php?UID=214358
