I concur with most of the above, except Dougster. He and I are both in Seattle, but we seem to see the area differently. I can definitely point to fewer dancers working at the Puget Sound Region Deja Vu clubs. They have a list of their dancers in their website, and it has decreased in number, significantly, in just the past two years.
Whenever this topic comes up, I always point to increased competition from on line sources: Free porn, web cam actresses, and escorts as reasons for lower quality and/or quantity of dancers.

I sometimes go to the one remaining Hooters in the Puget Sound Region that's near a strip club. I like the idea of a "warm-up" before going to the club. And I go at meal time. I know the food isn't that great, but it's only an occasional thing for me.

Is the dispute whether or not an Oracle employee was even in the club, or is it over the amount?
I wonder if the New Century Theater a video of the customer in question. I've given this link before when the subject of video surveillance in strip clubs comes up. It's from the Strip Club Hound Blog. An incident was recorded on video in an L.A. strip club, when a major league baseball player went to a srip club one night, put $4,000 on a credit card, and later denied he was even at the club. See:

@ grand: Being a skilled and seasoned boobologist, I recommend you go to www.bing.com and click on "videos." Then enter search phrases such as "flashing boobs," "showing boobs in public," etc. Also look at the suggested searches that are provided. I didn't take the time to find the one Shadow provided, but you may find similar ones there.
Even though the video is in an eastern European language, at the very end it shows the title in English, "Titty Flash Compilation." You might try that also.

That I'm aware of, the term "strip club" wasn't used prior to about 1990 (where I lived in L.A., anyway). "Topless bar" was the standard name for topless entertainment venues. "Titty bar" was their nickname. A few of the early topless bars hung over into the true strip club era and tried to convert a small area in their clubs for lap dances. Some of those are still around in my old haunts (in the San Fernando Valley). I'm surprised that there's enough of them left to talk about. It sounds like Ohio has a lot of them. I stopped going to them after full sized strip clubs were commonplace.

I had bad luck today. I went to my local club, expecting to see a particular fave who usually works Friday day shift, but she wasn't there. I could have either called the club, or her, to confirm she would be there, but for strategic reasons I didn't. Wasted a 32-mile (round trip) drive, and most of two hours.

@ Lone_Wolf: I concur with you about dancers clicking their heels or banging the stage floor with them. They probably do it just to add a sound effect to their routine, like ass slapping, which I don't care for either. Also, it could be used to get customers to notice them whose attention who has strayed from the stage.

1. Could it be that you just encountered lazy dancers who wouldn't take off their bottoms? That's a common occurrence.
2. Also, TUSCL's checklist of "nude" vs. "topless" could use some refining in my experience. Sometimes you'll see more than one category checked in club listings. In the "features" section of each club's description, you may find more than one category listed.
For Scarlett's in Toledo (I've been there, so I have some familiarity), it currently lists both topless and nude dancers? Well, which one is it? (Other clubs list multiple conflicting descriptions.) In my opinion the most liberal should be noted. It also lists topless lap dances as available. I recall only bikini, but that certainly could have changed since I was there. There should be clear definition of what level of clothing is kept on, on stage, and for lap dances. They can be different within the same club.

I concur with CB42DDD (besides, I like the symbolism in your screen name). As for Ranukam's list of desired favorites qualities in a dancer's stage show, no. 1 is important to me. I had an unusual experience with that the last time I went to my local club.
I noticed a new dancer and was intrigued by her enough to go sit at the stage when she got up. Even though I tipped her, she never made eye-contact with me. I was really pissed! Then as she concluded her set, when she came by to collect her tips, she looked me squarely in the eye, we chatted for just a brief moment, and then she said, "I'll come by and sit with you after I get off stage." She did. Hence, redeeming herself. That's when I found out she's a newbie. I've noticed before that it's sometimes difficult for dancers new to the industry to make eye contact with the audience, while on stage.

I'm of the opinion that some dancers have exaggerated their bra sizes over the years. What's more important is not what they tell me, but what I see and feel.

I concur with Papi. I like dancers with big natural boobs (See my profile pics for examples of dancers I know. Only a couple are enhanced.) They're mostly the ones that get my money.

Even though I know nothing about strip clubs in that part of the U.S., using commonly available TUSCL and general internet search methods, I didn't see anything come up that would explain the closure of the two clubs.
The TUSCL links below are for the reviews for the two clubs. Both were last reviewed within the past year. It looks like your best source for an answer will be to PM a few of the more recent reviewers to see if they know the reasons for the clubs' closure:

I checked the local newspaper there, and using the searching phrases, "Centerfolds/Body Shop close" and "strip clubs close," I didn't see an article about either club. If it had been closed because of law enforcement action, that likely would have been reported. I sense it was for reasons common to many businesses: Went out of business, or the owner lost the lease, etc. You're welcome to check further. See:

I didn't check for TV coverage. (There are too many stations to check.) When a strip club closes, that usually makes the evening news. You can find a list of the Green Bay TV stations at:

You can always call or stop by the former club locations, and if different tenants are in those lease spaces now, you can ask them if they know anything about clubs closures.
