    Stripper Names
I like strippers' names that describe their qualities. Names that do it for me are: Areolia, Boobette, Boobolea, Boobobosa, Cleavageia, Mammarilyn, Nipolea, Titsy, etc. When I meet one of those, then I know I'm in for a good time!

    Strippers and Valentine's Day
I concur with Shadow and Sclvr. Also, as I've pointed out before, I don't feel that Valentine's day is a good day for clubbing: New Year's Eve and Valentine's day are the two most difficult nights of the year to get baby sitters for those who would need them. All the young, pretty, potential baby sitters out there are likely to be wined and dined by their boyfriends. If you're just going to a club in hopes of seeing whichever dancers might be there, you're not likely to see the full selection on those two nights. But, if you're going to see a CF who you know will be there, then that should be fine. Also, dancers have told me in the past that they don't work on Valentines day because they go out to celebrate with their boyfriends/SOs. (Those that don't need a babysitter.)

Percentage of American Men who are Regular Strip Club Visitors
@ Lopaw: 1. From the way you phrased your first comment, it sounds as if you know that there are other hounds among your coworkers, but you know you're the biggest of them. Correct? Or, were you just speaking metaphorically? 2. The percentage that you envision would be best converted to a pie chart. Then with the use of a microscope you could see the slice of the pie that you're amongst.

    Out of Phoenix
My background is similar to Scvlr. I moved from L.A. to Seattle in 2006. In the first couple of years, Seattle was still pretty good, even though (legally) lap dances are bikini, only, here. After just six months here of not even being able to get a legal topless lap dance in Seattle, I started doing OTC. No problem getting what I want in that arena. Like Scvlr, I made several trips back to L.A. and some to Las Vegas, to attend more interesting clubs. By 2008, I "stayed home."

    A recent review from a dancer w.r.t. a well-known extras club
@ mjx01: Flagged reviews are only noticeable when you view a review where it is the only review visible on your screen. @ sflguy: You're probably right. Lots of customers unfamiliar with that club will likely discover it now that it's been reviewed as an UHM club.

Does NASCAR race on March 9th in Vegas generate traffic at clubs?
BK, Regardless of whether or not NASCAR generates additional foot traffic in the Las Vegas strip clubs, that's still part of the primary convention season in Las Vegas. January through the end of April are the main convention months. You may not notice the difference, even with NASCAR's presence, because there will be so many conventioneers in town anyway, in March.

    Leaving the club with strippers
Dancers may be uncomfortable about being seen leaving their clubs with customers, because of all the dressing room gossip that goes on in strip clubs. Club owners don't want customers and dancers leaving the club together for two reasons: It smacks of prostitution and the club feels that the dancer is "taking business away from the store." I know of an instance where a dancer stupidly left a club with a customer in his car. All they did was go to lunch and returned immediately to the club. But, a manager saw it happening and got in his car and followed them to the nearby restaurant, waited for them to return to his car, and then back to the club. He wanted to document the action. The dancer was immediately fired. When I've left clubs with dancers, we go in separate cars and stagger the time by ten minutes.

    Congrats to Seattle!
@ GoV: True, but it was our first Super Bowl victory in 37 years of franchise history. We'll take what we can get. (I didn't think the commercials were "Super Bowl-caliber" this year, either.)

    Why do strippers get fired?
How about unreliability? That's a very common stripper "disease." But, it may be too closely related to no. 2 to consider as a distinct reason. Once no. 2 kicks in, it probably leads to unreliability.

Keep it in my pants when I do OTC. If I were a stripper it would stand for I like big bucks and I can not lie.
    OT: LA car pooling
@ Ibby: 1. You said, "I've heard . . ." I think you need a hearing aid. 2. Dogs sniff each other's anus to determine what the other dog has eaten recently. Their sense of smell is so keen that even after digestion, dogs can discern what food another dog has eaten. @ Sofaking: Those are not route numbers for L.A. freeways. However, there is an Interstate 405. And, the rule of thumb for it is: Never be on the 405 at 4:05.

    The Shitty Side of OTC
Slick, What was the total amount of time you wasted? It was at least an hour, but from when she first said to wait for her until you gave up, how much time was that? I had a similar experience once. But I only wasted 45 minutes. I was due to meet a dancer for a late lunch/early dinner. After her having to change the meeting time a few times, that same day, we agreed on 4 p.m. the location was an hour's drive from where I live. To shorten the story, she finally texted me at 6:30 to say, "I'm on my way now." I didn't answer. Fortunately, I had a plan B already set for what I'd do in that area in the event I got stood up. I had long-since learned that strippers can be unreliable.

Clubs with same name in different regions/areas ?
As for the Cheetah's "chain," I sense that they all start out under the same ownership but are sold later on with certain stipulations to make it look like the club is part of a chain. That is the Cheetha's name must be continued to be used, and the same logo seems to be used in many/most of its locations.

Also, talk to a strip club attorney for his/her take on starting out in that industry. Overseas may be different, but start with local knowledge.

Dancers that help make OTC happen
My story starts out like Papi's, but my girl was a young, thick, AA girl. This happened twice, about a year apart in Las Vaginas: I was in her club in the mid-afternoon. I got several dances from her, and wanted more. Then she said, "My shift is over in a few minutes, so I can't stay any longer. But we can go to my/your hotel if you like." The first year we went to mine. The second year we went to hers (near the club). She was a travelling dancer from out of state. Both instances worked out just fine!

Odd things said during an LD
I like minimal conversation during a lap dance. Mostly just "oohs" and "ahs" are all I like to hear. If the dancer does attempt to initiate a conversation, I just say, "Let's save that for after our dances are finished."

You guys remember porn stars without makeup?
I'm with those who liked the In 'N' Out Burger better than the tatted tits. I haven't been to an In 'N' Out since 2007, when I was last in Las Vaginas. Per its website, it appears to have locations in the southwestern states: California (hundreds there!), Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Texas. See: http://www.in-n-out.com/pdf/locations_printable.pdf It would appear that Washington state will have to wait.

    An Epiphany Or Gestalt Moment
A good speaking voice is always beneficial. Combined with the well-spoken quality you possess, it projects a sense authority. I'm sure it has served you well when you're working hard, and when you're hardly working (in strip clubs).

Surefire way to refuse a dance offer
Only once did the "I'm broke" excuse not work for me. The dancer's reply was, "Let me see your wallet!" Maybe I should have used the "Do you swallow" line. (Fortunately, I never saw that dancer again.)

Yes. Besides, strip clubs are no big deal to the Seahawks. There's a strip club a block away from their stadium.
