Techman: usual 2-song strip on stage, first peeling & second nude. Private dances I did were nude, I think the standard $40 dance is nude. Not even sure they do a topless only; never asked.

I like being a regular & have my tricks to break into the rotation. Hit them up at the tip rail or drink station & clearly say I’ll get a vip if they come talk when they’re available, with a tip if they’ve danced. If they then blow me off, they’re off the list. Sometimes I wait a while, but never longer than I remain otherwise entertained at the club.
I would NEVER approach a girl sitting with a customer, that’s a party foul. Any girl sitting with me who gets solicited & says “I’ll be right back” won’t find me again. But I don’t tie them up long & I tell them when you’re ready to dance say so & we’ll go. It’s a mutual respect for each other’s time thing. Talk can be fun, but I’m there for action and I’m a steady income stream if they play it right, but not if they don’t. Somehow it works.

I’ve only had it happen with 2 girls in 20+ years (as far as I remember). One forgettable one-time accident, but the other girl was a frickin’ artist and I sought her time after time for maybe 3-4 years. She could play me like a fiddle, edge & back off, and repeat, then blow the load shortly after I’d say “last song for today.” I always wore a condom, was polite (she wasn’t all that personable, but rewarded respect), gave a decent but not large tip ($30 later $40 on top of dance cost), and worshipped her incredible body. She never cracked under my requests & enticements for more mileage. “I don’t do more & you seem happy with what I do; plenty of other girls here.” So I guess I’m outside your categories, but only because I found the LDK Empress of the Universe.

I too try lots of clubs & dancers, so I’ll chat until they prove it’s not worth my time, then it’s off to do business. Those ‘em who prove funny or interesting get repeat business (I don’t believe in long lockdown chats on any given visit, if I like the girl I want to give her time to make $).

Truth, for all the good it will do….
Both the article & Oldwhiteguy’s 10 Rules reflect life wisdom from the trenches. Esp those Rules, I’ve thought that stuff so many times as I reflect on strip club life. Well done.
But the Dusty’s of our world have zero reading comprehension when it comes to this topic. “Yeah, but I’m ME!” those narcissists think, “Those rules don’t apply to ME.” Yep, good luck with that.
That said, me & my career ATF (long retired now) have been platonic friends for nearly 20 years now. Haven’t paid her or seen her naked for 10, since she retired. But we stay in touch, hang out once or twice a year, have fun. Now that’s one in a million.

I’ve been there 3 times but never mongered; between an unknown legal system & the hustle inherent in locals seeing tourists, I just think it’s more hassle than it would be worth. I can monger at home for cheap & with confidence I get good value.
Saw some hot women, though; Istanbul and in coast cities it’s very Western. Go east of Konya & you rarely see women on the street, it seems very traditional not cosmopolitan.

“Discrimination” is an evolutionary and inherently human behavior. You don’t eat stuff that looks or smells like that stuff that made you puke. You stereotype & act accordingly.
“Race” is a factor you recognize in the memory bank of experience. How it impacts you is a matter of your experience & cognitive process.
So I’d say yeah 3/10 is probably good for me too. I don’t think race is my main criteria for categorizing people: it’s probably demeanor, overt behaviors I find threatening, speech, dress, etc. Bad haircuts or other obviously unwise choices haha.

Muddy gives a good overview of the SoCal clubs.
I’d say drive to COI, with a “rest stop” in Upland at Tropical Lei.
The drive is dull, but you Euros (more so Germans) seem to dig deserts since you don’t have many. You may hit serious traffic in the middle of nowhere if Sunday or Monday, but likely 3-3.5 hours to Upland then another .7-1.0 to COI.
TL is a straight up brothel but it’s a good time. (No booze in any nude club in CA, BTW.) Less GPS than Synn COI, but more trailer trash girls.
In COI, Synn & Rhino are most popular and have best lookers. But holy shit, they ask high GPS prices & have shitty customer service skills; you need to be on your game AND be willing to take the loss and retreat to Paradise to pork a lesser (but often still good) girl for a better price.
OC is an option; certainly better hotels & dining than COI-adjacent. Just drive .5 hour into Fullerton for a pleasant & reasonable cost places. Ecstasy is top lookers & cost; Sahara & Imperial & TJs are good, but hit & miss.
For your plan, I think going on into LA is more trouble than it’s worth. Traffic, high prices, decaying environment, hassle after hassle. I second Muddy’s political rant: it is a hell hole these days, unless you have $ to burn. SF Valley could take you another day’s drive; it takes me 1.5-2 hr each way from LAX, 3 hrs more than once. COI to SFV can be 4 hrs. Only if you prefer sitting in traffic to girls in your lap.

Off topic a bit, but I am told that private strippers are often good in states/cities where strip clubs suck due to over-regulation, LE/govt pressures, etc. A private stripper company with no place of business, no liquor license, etc., is typically regulated by a different govt bureaucracy than real strip clubs. So long as they keep it on the DL, it can be a “legit” beard for an escort service. In my second home state, I am told this is the case, and that I need to try “Sirens” dial-a-stripper-to-your-place service for FS with decent girls at decent prices (assuming you pass “not a cop” and “not SJG” tests).

In the nude, no-alcohol club context in CA, there’s little upside compared to the time & money. Staff is mostly low wage and very transitory, entries are tracked by owners’ cameras so hard to comp entry fees. Extras are generally a basic feature & readily available, you don’t need staff help & girls answer yes or no for themselves when asked. It’s more like fast food: the non-dancer staff rarely impacts your meal. In 20+ years the only “staff” I know were 2 former CF ex-dancer now managers, and while they’re still fun to chat with they aren’t doing me any favors.
But I can see OP’s points as valid in alcohol bars, low or variable mileage places, etc.

I religiously tracked experiences & expenses on a spreadsheet for about 5-6 years pre-COVID, when I was mongering 2-3 times a week due to life situations (lots of $, no GF, high work load). Wanted to make sure I wasn’t blowing my retirement funds & had perspective & value. I could see when to dial back, take hiatus, fall out of PLuppy Love. Very useful & eye-opening. Then COVID & changed situations; now I don’t need to keep that sort of record, I can just count ATM withdrawals from certain locations LOL.

Oddly (for a guy who grew up there), I see more AA dancers in Orange County than in L.A. County. Imperial Showgirls in particular. In L.A. County, Rio on Fig has many. Synn & Rhino COI tends to cater more to white & Latino guys with more money than sense, who seem to favor hot young & dumb Latinas. There’s a sprinkling of AA & mixed there, but usually with the long nails & other high-end beauty habits and “you get what you pay for” tudes. Synn North hills in the Valley sometimes has some good AA. But overall, try Atlanta.
