In the suburban strip clubs around Detroit, it is business as usual. No problems getting extras outside city limits. Within the city limits of Detroit, it has changed quite a bit. Major crackdowns and VIP rooms are disappearing in the city.

I've done OTC, ITC and escorts. It all depends on what you are looking for. If you like the "thrill of the chase", then OTC is the best way to go. If you just want your needs met quickly and don't really care about the cost, then ITC is for you. If you want your needs met and want more "bang for the buck", then escorts are the way to go. One really big difference between ITC/OTC and escorts is the LE factor. The chance of dealing with the law is greatly reduced when dealing with strippers as opposed to escorts. Because of this, you will pay a premium for stripper fun to avoid getting arrested.

If Backpage remains shut down, I wonder what effects this will have (if any) on strip clubs. Will escorts try dancing in order to gain otc customers? In some instances, escorts were dancers first. We may have an inverse of this. Also, will escort customers try strip clubs to get their needs met (assuming they are in an area that is extras friendly)? Time will tell.

@Jdobbs84 It's good that you do research on a legit review sites like TER. It's very important when dealing with escorts to do your homework! Just picking someone at random on backpage can be very risky if you can't find any reviews. Plus, fake picks abound on sites like backpage. I've done both OTC and escorts and haven't had a problem. For me, escorts generally are cheaper. But I've had a more enjoyable time with OTC. Have gotten to know the girl better in the club and had a pretty good idea about how good of a time I would have from a girl out of the club. Even if you do your research on an escort, It's still a crap shoot if the escort is going to be to your liking.

@Hugh_G._Rection Club Venus is in the process of a remodel. When it will re-open is anyone's guess. With the crackdown in Detroit lately, don't know how good the dances will be. Used to be my watering hole for a good period of time back in the day.

If you have known her for a couple of years, chances are it will be fine. I did OTC with a girl that I've been seeing in the club for a couple of years and had a great time. I got to know her fairly well and felt comfortable seeing her OTC at her place. As others have suggested, if you have reservations about going to her place, float the idea of going to a hotel. If that goes well, then try her place on the next go around.

As far as I am concerned, if you don't like Dougster for whatever reason, then don't read his post or put him on ignore. Many of his post I don't read (that goes for other contributors as well) because I am not interested on the particular subject they want to discuss. Just like porn, if you don't like it, don't look at it! But don't let limit others from looking at it because you don't like it.

More than likely, I will always go to the club no matter how old I get. Unless I am unable to go because of health reasons or financial reasons, strip clubbing will always be in the mix. There will be times when I will take a break from it. In 2016, I only went to clubs maybe twice. Like Papi, was burned out from it and was not enjoying it like I did in the past. Was tired of so much stripper shit going on and clubbing wasn't fun like it use to be for me. Went more often in 2017, but will never go like I did 5 to 10 years ago.

@Uprightcitizen. I agree with your statements. If the clubs charge as much on Bitcoin dispensers as they do for ATM fees, the dancers would really lose a ton of money on the deal! Lol.

The volatility has to come down quite a bit to make it practical. Lap dance may be $20 when you start the dance. By the time the dance if finished, the dance may cost you $23. It also can work in your favor depending on the USD/Bitcoin exchange rate at the time the transaction is made.

s275ironman mentioned that prostitution was legal in Canada. If I am not mistaken, the law was changed the a few years back by the conservative government at the time that it is legal for a sex worker to sell services, but illegal for customers to buy services. Similar to the laws in Scandinavia and France that BHF mentioned above. If you're a hobbyist in Canada, be careful because the sexual transaction isn't legal on both ends of the agreement.

Good for you Papi! If a dancer starts dancing in the middle of a song, my experience is that she will also over count songs. Now I just stop a 2 songs (actually 1-1/2 songs) and move on to someone else.

I've OTC twice. I've known both strippers for several months before I OTC with them. My advice is to get to know the girl for a while (at least a month or so being a customer). By that time, you should know enough to feel comfortable to OTC with her or not. Some guys feel very comfortable OTC with a stripper right away. More power to you. I like to take my time and try to find out where she is coming from before I try to OTC with a girl.

IMO, Detroit clubs are divided into 3 Segments, Downtown Clubs, 8 Mile Clubs and Michigan Ave Clubs. You could lump Downtown with Michigan Ave clubs in a day, and hit the 8 Mile Clubs the next day. It can be done if you go during the day and night shift. Would be better to take 3 days for such a trip.
