The Erotic Review has voluntarily shut down their site due to SESTA to US-based subscribers. Their ad boards were shut down a couple of weeks ago, but now the full site is blocked. I guess that part of the sex industry that actually connects adults to each other is going to have to wait for the courts to rule, or find another creative advertising solution. I do wonder how clubs will tolerate escorts coming to work the stage mainly to advertise their OTC availability.
Wow, I wonder what is next. Does Eros.com go? or maybe if it survives we see a spike in middle to lower end girls advertising on there. I also wonder how SA makes out in all of this.
Things will probably go back to old school for a while. Remember the movie Risky Business? Ads in the back of magazines at seedy adult book stores. Underground meet and greets that are word of mouth only. Higher end escorts headed to the legal Nevada Brothels. Increase in streetwalkers and casino girls. It’s going to either be like prohibition or the US will have to legalize and tax prostitution.
I know on SA, I'll see these weird adds with young girls 18-21, for example I live in Southern Maryland and will see an ad where the girl is located in Bay 4, Maryland. There is no Bay Maryland and have no idea where the number comes from. Lots of ads where the 18-21 y/o appear to come and ago, but of course so do a large percentage of the girls on that sight. So who knows

Azzd, dancers using the club to find regulars for OTC already occurs in many clubs. As long as the dancers are discreet and make enough money for the club they won't care. It will depend on the woman and likely the city, whether the ex backpage escort can actually make it in a club. More than a few photos of women who advertised there looked like washed out heroin addicts, missing teeth, needle scars. They won't likely be able to work in even the worse dive.
Now can everyone stop droning on about great life and "freedom" is going to be now that an "outsider" got elected US President? Agendas and hypocrisy didn't disappear just because a political toddler squeaked into office.

In my view - there always seems to be a need for whores. That need will always provide a market for whores too.
There are still seedy adult stores. Some offer glory hole action now. I’ve seen a few in PA. I think there are a few in NJ too.
