Nah, that particular SC visit was totally worthless. The driving was horrendous. The only saving grace for the entire day was one of the business deals I was able to finalize. Excellent results for me from that deal at a dirt cheap price.

One day late last winter I drove 130 white knuckle kilometres through the worst blizzard of the season from Nisku to Red Deer for a SC visit.
Admittedly, the real purpose of the trip was business. I stopped at the SC hoping that the blizzard would let up for my return drive. The club was quiet with nothing happening. The blizzard was still raging when I left the club and the return trip was even worse driving than the trip down to Red Deer. In fact the horsemen had closed Hwy 2 and I was forced to use back roads to make my way to Edmonton Int'l.

Interesting question, jack. I have no feelings one way or another about sexual fidelity. I have never been in love so my observations in this matter are probably valueless.
However, if you betrayed me in such a manner as this in a business matter I would do my best to come after you to wreak my vengeance over such a gross betrayal of trust.
Sex is just one of the body's involuntary animal functions. Business is about money and money is much more serious shit.

I must bring to your attention a big caveat to the bleak scenario that you portray. You are talking about urban areas of North America. Granted, that is where probably 85% of North America's population resides. However, those of us who live in rural areas or who operate businesses in isolated areas of the world are largely immune to the intrusions that you cite.
The simple fact of the isolation of the farm where I live and of the isolation of the areas where I operate my business grants me a level of security not available to urbanites. I didn't do this consciously; it is just a function of the way my life has evolved. Satellites and drones exist, of course, but they are not as ubiquitous as are CCT cameras in urban areas.
I have no fear of the technological intrusions that you posit.

Never forget about the security offered by the old methods of communication and the solidity of the old methods of doing business.
Wireline phones are infinitely more secure than any wireless phone.
Snail mail beats e-mail all to hell for security.
Cash beats cards as payment method.
Barter and hand shake deals in business are clean and leave no paper trail.
For wireless communication Blackberry is still trusted by POTUS.....me too.
Just a few examples....1984 is long in the past.....and 2084 is years ahead of us.

My ATF car was the Ferrari that I owned for only a few nervous months during my retirement. I had the lovely red beast wound up just one single time on Alberta's best highway and I was scared shitless as I approached the beast's top end.
Even with my life long passion for speed I realized that I had to sell the Ferrari if I wanted to live a longer life. It was just way too much car for my capabilities. I took a bit of a financial bath when I sold the machine.
But, gawd, I will never forget that one glorious run.

This almost never happens to me but I am always turned on when a dancer gives me explicit directions what to do during a lap dance.
Toronto sweetie did this during our first encounter ITC before we got down to doing the deed. Hearing her throaty voice commanding me to do specific things to her body during the lap dance preliminaries helped to stiffen Mr. Wood to diamond cutter state.

I can't say that I have a foot fetish but I will admit to checking out the feet when I am sizing up a dancer's appearance. Attractive, well tended feet are usually an indication of a well cared for body. When dancers are on an elevated stage a PL in gyno row will generally see the dancer's feet before any other skin is revealed.
Feet can be a subtle tell when assessing a dancer.

What antibiotic were you given, Ermita, that finally defeated your infection?
30+ years ago I came back from south east Asia with a very nasty infection that the common antibiotics couldn't defeat. My doc finally got me back to good health by using Vancomycin. At that time Vancomycin was the 'last resort' antibiotic for such infections as mine. My doc at the time was absolutely confounded by whatever infection I had brought back to Canada. He told me that this was the first time in his career that he had to resort to Vancomycin to cure one of his patients.
I was working in Borneo when this happened. I have no clue where I picked up the bug but it was not in a SC.

There are some gems among the file of articles. Many guys on this board have written articles about the SC scene in their particular cities or areas where they have had lots of experience. There are excellent articles in the archive about Detroit, Atlanta (guess the author), Dallas, Providence, Toronto, Tijuana, and probably others that have passed out of my memory. Some info in those articles will be stale dated but the general tone of the articles will give any tuscler good info on SCs in whatever city that you are reading about.
It can be a pain in the ass to dig out these articles but well worth the effort when you do.

I am one of the 'few' that you mention.
Let me assure you - Smilin' Jack Gallagher is an absolute legend in the western Canadian oil patch. He worked the world looking for oil but always returned to Canada. He was the most respected geologist of his generation. He pushed the boundaries of Canada's known oil reserves out to the Arctic Ocean. He was fearless. He was a risk taker of the highest order. He was a charmer, a real snake oil salesman, and he was an exceptionally handsome man. I heard many stories of wet panties caused when Smilin' Jack focused his charm on women.
I really wish that I had met him.
