I can't tell you to do this or to do that.
From my own life I will tell the bad choices that I made. I was a working fool from age 15 onwards, building my own company. I had no girl friends (I didn't even have sex until I was 37), no vacations, no hobbies.....just work. Now, I am 65.....no family.....pots of money......back in business because retirement bored me to death....I will die working in all probability.
Superdude is very wise. Moderation.

During my retirement I would get twitchy if a week went by between visits.
Back in business now, months pass between visits. I seem to be surviving.

A 1 oz gold Maple Leaf. (This is not as outrageous as it seems. I have been squirreling away gold bullion coins for years. The cost of this coin could have been in the $300-$400 range.)

A few years ago I saw the huge Russian helicopter, the MI-26, lift a huge piece of oilfield production equipment out of a bush camp. That particular piece of equipment probably weighed close to 35,000kg.

I got stopped out of MMM in about the first hour of trading this morning. Anybody have any idea what caused the $4+ hit in the stock's price today?........apart from the law of gravity? No idea what to do with this $260K since CAT isn't anywhere near my buy price (guess I'm a bit early in the down cycle to expect to get CAT in the 60s).
If this cash weren't in my retirement account I would just flip it into the my company's accounts (where every nickel is desperately needed at the moment).

Are you kidding us? A strip club as incubator of true love? You mention that you have been dancing for just 2 months. I believe that.
As for my first OTC venture with a dancer? My good friend, Mr. Wood was quickly probing the depths of her delightful pink clam. All subsequent OTC adventures have been similar.

During my retirement I combined my gardening hobby with support for the local food bank. I grew scads of root vegetables expressly for the food bank - carrots, parsnips, turnips, rutabagas, potatoes. One year I showed up with 100s of pounds of my funky tomatoes. That donation was appreciated more by the food bank volunteers than by the food bank clients. Apparently, purple or black or striped tomatoes were a bit too exotic for the clients of the small town food bank near Rancho farmerart.
I also support the local women's shelter. My involvement with the shelter started with a fundraiser based on men walking in heels during the intermission of a hockey game. That event was a hoot and since then I have become a major underwriter of the local shelter. The shelter's residents have free access to Rancho farmerart's raspberries, strawberries, and saskatoons in summertime whenever I am away. If I am available I always host a BBQ or indoor party for the shelter's residents once a year.
Other organizations that I support - Alzheimer's Society, Museum of the Regiments in Calgary, Salvation Army, Planned Parenthood.
I refuse to support any church-run charity. I am an atheist and organized religion mostly just disgusts me.

I just watched shadow's link. Very interesting to see the editing mistakes. I caught one glimpse of McQueen's car with the dented driver's side clearly visible. The incident in the chase that caused that dent occurred long after the point in the chase where I noticed the dent. Didn't catch this while I was watching the movie in the departure lounge.
Does this mean that movies play around with reality?

The fall in CAD has given me a little wiggle room with oil prices. Resuming drilling last spring now has my production up to roughly 5,000boe/day but if WTI falls below $90 my drill bits will stop turning once again. I am so grateful that I am producing light oil. Alberta Heavy is once again trading at a huge discount to WTI, somewhere in the $60 heighbourhood.
I am not very optimistic at all about oil prices. That nuclear agreement with Iran will release gobs of oil to the Europeans and Brent will get whacked as a result, I am sure.
