While many strippers are complete morons, it's pretty much anyone under that age of 25 these days. I know college grads that can't write unless it's in cell phone text form. And when it comes to current events, no clue. I think u get a diploma these days for just showing up. Since the news is packaged in nice and neat 2 minute segments these days, you would think they could at least follow along for a little bit. Unfortunately we are all screwed in about 20 years when these idiots are in charge by default.

Tycoons is the worlds biggest waste of time. Avoid at all costs, especially coming from out of town with limited time to visit any clubs you want. It really gives all other clubs in the area (and that includes the dives like H8's and Bogarts) a bad name.

With the auto show in town and a recent string of raids in Detroit, I would stay away from the clubs within the Detroit city limits. The new police chief is looking to make a name for himself and the occasional hassles will continue. That includes PH and Coliseum. Plenty to be had though out towards the west side. Flight Club is a good stop. You'll have fun there. Also BT's, Toy Chest, and Landing Strip are middle of the road clubs that can be hit or miss, but usually a good time. Or go slumming at Bogarts or a H8. Personally, Windsor clubs are very overrated and you have to cross the border which can lead to issues if you're unlucky. Probably no trouble there, but in my experience, a lame time.

Absolute gimmick. For the self respecting strip club hobbyist, this thing is a waste of time. For someone that has never seen or been in a strip club, it's a neat idea. For anyone that has been to more than one strip club though, it is a complete waste of time.

In my experience, most strippers hide the fact that they are strippers to family, friends, etc. In a large metro area (like Detroit,) strip clubs are spread out over a large geographical area. Notice most strippers work at a strip club all the way on the other side of the town in which they live, therefor limiting the chances that someone they know will find out. Facebook is the same, sort of. They post things on their pages to make themselves look like something that they are not. Religious sayings being one of those. This is not limited to strippers. I have many friends that put shit on their page to "look better." Exaggerating their jobs, education, etc.
On another not, I have a question for those that disagree/rip on people that are on facebook, twitter, etc. People that don't "agree" with social media.......WTF do you think this website is? Other than the fact that TUSCL is not a real mainstream site for obvious reasons, this site is EXACTLY what social media is.

I noticed you mentioned Penthouse is near Royal Oak. It is not. It is near Royal Oak Township. The difference in the two is like the difference between South Central LA and Beverly Hills. For dining options, Royal Oak has everything imaginable in a small downtown type setting. Royal Oak Township may have a McDonalds.
All the other info is accurate. There is technically nothing North of 8 mile. Your best bet's from Troy are Coliseum on the eastern end of 8 mile, or Penthouse which is further west. As for the neighborhoods, it doesn't really matter unless you decide to take a 4 block walk from the club for exercise.

I've seen this a happen to a few people. Here's the reason. If the bouncer or someone in management catches you, the stripper now has someone to blame it on. If she's by herself, she gets tossed out and most likely fired. If a customer is with her, she blames the customer and the customer gets tossed.

From what I've been able to gather, Alan (owner FC and PH) originally bought Players, remodeled it, then somehow got screwed out of the deal. He then bought Coliseum basically to try and put Players out of business. Just a rumor, can't always trust a stripper trying to explain the details while she's performing a BBBJCIM.
That being said, the talent level at the 2 clubs seemed to be pretty much the same before, so other than someones ATF moving down the street, I don't think there will be much of a difference. I would imagine that the Coliseum will be remodeling their VIP to the standard FC/PH configuration.

A dancer would have to put in a lot of time an effort in on this site (i.e. Stilleto25) for me to believe anything posted from them.

I like a good dive bar from time to time, as long as I know it's a dive bar before hand. In other words, if I'm out of town and there's one strip bar in the area, and I get my hopes up that's it nice, but walk into a dive, then not so much. But, sometimes I seek out a dive (for me it's Centerfolds in Detroit or Bogarts in Inkster,) then my expectations aren't too high, and I usually have a good time without hurting the wallet.
Depends on the mood and the level of expectations I guess.

Walked into a restaurant today and they gave me a free meal. Then I went to the gas station and the guy didn't charge me. Crazy. Then, there was a homeless guy on the street corner with a sign, I pulled up to him and he gave me a dollar.

I am by no way a strip club price gouging apologist, but I don't think everyone understands WHY higher end clubs have mandatory valet. Sure it seems like another way to gouge us for $5, but they do it for a reason. Ever heard of a dine and dash? Having control of the keys HELPS prevent people from running out on a tab, whether it be for drinks, or dances. For drinks, they usually hold a CC, but without a signature, it can easily be disputed. For dances, if a girl is dumb enough to not collect right after the dance, it's easy for a guy to just take off. And the $5-$8 fee? It's 1-2 more employees to hire. I hate paying the booth fee and alot of the other bullshit, but I at least understand the point of the valet.

It's the smell of capitalism in it's most pure form. I offer girls money for a service. She offers me less service for more money. I offer her less money for more service. We negotiate. The other girls represent the free market where I may take my currency elsewhere if an acceptable price/service is not agreed upon. The dancer pays her tax to the government (tax being tipout, government being the owner of the bar, the dj, the waitresses, the busboy, the valet guy.) The American economy at work is a beautiful thing. 4 years of business school, and sadly, my education is applied the most at a strip club. Too much shit gets in the way in the "real world."
Oh, and that baby oil perfume thing holds alot of water. I have heard that more than once from dancers.

At PH and FC, you can wear shorts, flip flops, jeans, whatever. Ironically though, if you have a baseball cap on backwards they make you turn it around, because somehow that isn't classy like flip flops are.
Also, there is an advantage to wearing jeans. The dancers don't like them for obvious reasons, so they often make you pull them down right from the start. And for the guys that wear sweatpants, sure it may be convenient for a lap dance, but I hope you know that everyone there labels you the creepy guy the second you walk in the door. Dress pants on the other hand, are the perfect combination of comfort and class. Some guy sitting next to me at the bar said that once.

I know this isn't a fool proof way, but especially if it is the second time you get dances from a girl that you think is "over-counting" songs, when the session starts, look at the time, and tell he what time it is. In her mind, this will let her know you are at least paying attention, since most songs go 3-4 minutes. It's not an exact science, but the smart ones (oxymoron) will catch on that you're paying attention without you ruining the mood by saying that you are counting songs and don't screw me over. I've done this twice in the past, and it actually worked.

I had one call me once. After he called about 9 times without me answering, I finally answered. He went off on me for a minute, then I calmly told him I knew his name (which my ex ATF told me,) and that I went to school with his probation officer (total bluff, but I did know he was in trouble with the law.) His tone quickly changed, and I never heard from him again. I was getting sick of that ATF anyways, so this was a good time to make a change. If she's dumb enough to let any loser she knows have access to her phone, I figured it was a good idea to find someone more reliable. That last sentence fragment was a joke obviously. If these girls were reliable, could keep a regular job, drive a car without getting pulled over twice a week, drive a car without hitting something once a week, etc, etc, etc......
