I got back to the hotel one night after spending an evening at a club in Van Nuys. Washing my hands, I noticed the soap suds turning brown, and so I turned on the light and looked in the mirror. I looked like I had crawled through mud. It's a good thing I'm single and do my own laundry. It *did* come out, but I was a bit worried. Do these girls expect repeat business?
I had noticed a strong acrid smell while getting a lap dance from the second dancer of the night, but hadn't thought anything of it at the time. It's something I'll be aware of in the future.

I've never been very interested in feature dancers. The last time I went to a club that had a feature dancer, just the presence of that dancer kind of spoiled the whole ambiance of the club. Lots of whooping and hollering, and the younger, prettier club dancers weren't on stage. This was long ago enough that lap dances weren't an issue -- I hadn't even heard the term then.
In any case, ever since that time I've made it a point to skip any club that had a feature dancer scheduled. Fortunately, it's been years since I've even seen one advertised.

Good thing I'm *not* close by, because I surely would have been tempted. Don't know if the color in the pictures was real, but the freckles tell me they were really redheads. It seems a lot of redheads color their hair to make their hair seem more vivid.
And no, the carpet almost certainly does not match the drapes. Carpet has mostly gone away, all we have is waxed floors.

Similar to SC's story, I went to a strip club in Mexicali in the 70s. It was pretty much a stage show with the stripper acts mixed in with music and comedy. One of the singers did strip down to topless during her song. Also completely English-free.

I don't think I'd care much for the jeans and a sweatshirt look, but I prefer street clothes to all glamored up. In other words, not dressed down, but not dressed up either.
The first "amateur contest" I ever saw was at the Palomino in Las Vegas, and the girls got up on stage and stripped out of street clothes. I didn't care much for the club, but I thought the contest was one of the sexiest things I'd ever seen.

There used to be a restaurant called Pegasus in Long Beach down in the harbor area where the waitresses all wore lingerie. It was a breakfast place, I'm not sure if they were even open much past noon. In every respect other than the lingerie it was a truck stop kind of place -- the waitresses had that heavyset biker chick look and called everybody "hon." In the late seventies, early eighties, tattoos were *not* common on women, but these ladies had them. You got the strong impression that what was on the menu was coffee, eggs and bacon, nothing else, and you might be taking your life in your hands by asking for more.
Clientele was mainly dockworkers and oilfield trash. (We were oilfield trash.) My crew always insisted I take them to Pegasus for breakfast if we finished a well logging job and the morning barge got us in at the right time.

Years ago in Houston, I was getting a fair number of dances in a row, and I had lost count. I asked her if it had been "x" dances (I might have been lowballing her, I certainly wasn't over) and she immediately agreed that it had been "x." I got the impression that she'd have agreed whatever I said (well, whatever *reasonable* I said.) I don't know if she lost out on that transaction, but she got my loyalty since I was back the next night. She did the same thing next time I asked her. I think she was just smart at customer relations and long term thinking.

This isn't the first site that I've seen attempt this kind of overhaul. It's putting form over function, and it *does* look better. If this were a "magazine" type site that might be fine, but if the intent is to convey information, the lower information density makes it *much* harder to use.
One other site that is trying to do this is a tech site I frequent, and they've gotten a huge amount of pushback from the members.

A relatively minor issue also: The "Discussion" tab on my browser user to say "Discussions." Now it says "The Ultimate Strip Club List Member Discussions." Guess having it on a tab on my work computer is contra-indicated.
Well, it always was, but it's going to be harder to do it safely...

I've a real weakness for redheads, or any girl with freckles. So that pretty strongly biases me towards white girls. Unfortunately, it's very rare that I actually find one in a strip club.
That said, I like girls of all sorts. It's a rare black girl that gets my attention, but it's happened.

The Goose also had the best on-tap beer selection I've every seen at a strip club, and pretty close to the best I've ever seen anywhere.
I don't go to strip clubs for alcohol, and in general would prefer to *not* drink. But still...

Last year when I was in Tucson a dancer sat down next to me and told me this was her first night back. She'd been out for three weeks because her boyfriend had stabbed her.
Then she asked if I wanted to see the stitches.
I said no, but apparently she really wanted to show them.
We didn't get any dances.

Most of the previous comments apply to me, except all natural. No fake boobs. That's a deal killer.
I have preferences in other areas (no tattoos, no piercings, slim, etc.) but all of those I've found exceptions to. But surgical enhancement is one I can't get past.

I generally pull $100 from the ATM once a week or whenever I'm low. I use a debit card at the grocery store, but pay cash pretty much everywhere else. If nothing else, it keeps me from spending too much -- if I can see the money disappear, it's more "real."
I make a special trip to the ATM when I'm heading to a club.

I remember a stage dance at the old Valley Ball in Van Nuys where they played Bolero all the way through. At that time they normally danced a three song set, and Bolero was the whole set for this girl.
This was way before lap dances.

Only BYOB club I've ever been in was in Longview Texas. Dive bar. I brought in a sixpack, don't know if anything else was allowed. I only had one (don't care much about drinking) but the dancers were more than happy to help. I think I left the leftovers with the cutest little dancer I've ever seen.
This was in the early/middle 90s. First club I *ever* encountered a hands on experience. Didn't bring enough money -- I don't know how far I could have gone, but by todays standards it would have been considered pretty tame. Definitely the highest mileage I had ever experienced or even heard of up until then, though.

I can put up with tattoos and piercings, although I don't really care for them.
Fake boobs are a no-go. If I discover I've chosen a girl with fake boobs I will finish the dance, if I like her other than that I'll maybe get a second dance. But after that, no more.

*Are* banks knowingly accepting money from pot dealers?
Seems I heard a news story from Colorado that many of the new pot businesses are having a lot of trouble with exactly that -- they are unable to use banks for either deposits or loans. They are forced to run their business on a cash-only basis, which not only is limiting in a business sense but also has made them more vulnerable to crime since criminals are aware how much cash is there.

A very good friend of mine had this -- it ended up causing her to get a hysterectomy at the age of 22. Not a real fun disease.
This was almost 40 years ago, but I don't know if they're any better at treating it now than they were then.

I like large or small, but usually choose to dance only with small. This is because there seem to be so few natural large busted ladies.
An "enhanced" girl is a dealbreaker for me. A few years back I got a few dances from a lady that was a "B" at most, and was very disappointed to discover implants. She had a great personality so I still would get dances from her, but not very often because I just didn't care for the way they felt.

Met one in Tucson that was being very conservative about what she would allow in the back room. Told me she had just gotten out of prison and did not want any attention from management -- this had previously been an anything goes club but they were cracking down.
