Well, working by the process of elimination, avoid the 2am hour -- that seems to be the peak time for shootings.

Um, I seem to recall the 'house mom' at one of the Detroit clubs comin' round to solicit a BJ. I was caught off guard to say the least.

Maybe TV networks and HBO, etc. have missed a programming opportunity ... Tonight at 8pm "Trailer Park Life". [Though HDNET is getting closer with their new series "The Super".]

Why spend the money flying to the various countries when the UN is in NYC? And the girl-to-guy ratio in NYC is very much in favor of the guys.

Some Toronto clubs only take $30 from the dancers per shift. BUT, if they leave (OTC) and come back, they have to pay another $30.

Never been to Club Venus. Now I have even less reason to go.
On a side note, I wonder how many occupants of the motel were scared because the police came a knocking on the door?

Too much of a good thing is never enough
Good that you got the names.
Would've been interesting had you said "Oh, I have much less $20s now than I had before. I only have $100 to pay you both." If they complained, bring up filing a complaint with the police over theft. And see where the dancers and the bouncer go in their reactions. Should an argument break out cite how the location of your wallet had changed and that there was more money before. Then insist on taking it to the manager if they continue to argue. Then bring up the police report to the manager.

"Book Guy" and "Sinclair" are TUSCL members who have written several reviews on N.O. clubs.

Nawlins? Book Guy and Sinclair appear to be your local authorities.
My intel's a little dated: I was in junior high when my folks took the family to The French Quarter. About all I remember of the stroll down Bourbon was the strategically placed black rectangles on the advertising posters outside the clubs.

RRD, you're at least wise enough NOT to be in the couch room for the shrink session.
Worst dance I ever had was in Seattle at a Vu. At the start of the lapper the dancer asked where I was from and in polite response I asked where she was from. The response was Pensacola, FL. Since that was a great distance I made the mistake of asking why she had come to Seattle. That opened up a can of worms, her mood saddened, the dance became rote and mechanical, and I heard all about her backstory for the duration of my 3-minute couch room dance. At the end of the song I got the bill: $35! There was not a request for more on my part.

Don't know whose to blame on that, Sam ... the clubs for not wanting to participate or the website trying to be 'family friendly'. Probably the latter if I had to guess.

For whatever reason strip clubs are usually pretty calm places. One exception was a rail experience I had one time. The guy next to me took his tongue up the dancer's bod when she came close to give him two boobies in the face. Fortunately I saw it, and saw the saliva slick glisten in the stage lighting as she backed away. Then she came to deliver me two boobies and I waved her off. She knew then I had seen what had happened and that the other guy was costing her tips. Had I in fact received the other guy's residue I might well have been tempted to register my displeasure with him. Hope the dancer noted for the future she should go off on a guy that does that.

I'd say BJ too, but unfortunately I read the directions...
Two gals come to mind: one could lean back planting her palms on the floor and then flipping over, again and again. That's a lot of unusual motion to keep up with on stage.
The second gal was the multi-time national pole champion in San Diego. She could climb the pole to the ceiling, invert herself, and then walk in a circle about the pole on the ceiling. Then she could do the splits upside down on the ceiling. She had other moves to such as spinning herself backwards around the pole (maybe not a good description on my part as she said it was a move only a few gals could do.) There should be video of her someplace on the Net. And for the record I tipped her a $20 for her stage performance.

Gosh, to think I have to pay for my club visits out of my own pocket, after I pay for city services!
