I have never tipped the bouncers at Hi Liter. When I enter, I go to the bar and get a drink to let my eyes adjust, then find a wall seat on my own. The HL has become a classless club trying to act classy with its bouncers expecting tips, bathroom troll (in a probably 80-100 sq ft bathroom),and VIP that reminds me of a hockey penalty box. They also have some of the highest priced drinks in PHX and the dancer quality is considerably worse than it used to be. The latest trend I have observed is that many dancers now give sub par floor dances and try to upsell to VIP to get the same dance you used to get on the floor.

I have heard some married couples even sleep in different houses.

There are many reasons for declines, But I think the decline in quality dancers coupled with demographic changes play a big part.

It depends on the club. In Texas, many clubs serve good food and a dancer will hang with you for a few hours of food, drink and favors. It makes for a good evening with the right girl. In AZ, for the most part it's typical bar food and the benefit usually is not there. I have done it several times in TX, never in AZ.

One of my favs in Phx hs helped me with decorating 2 houses I flipped in the past year. Se has good taste, and tastes good.

I don't worry about strippers using drugs any more or less than I do the general public. As long as they are not so impaired to provide a good time, I don't care wat they use. I do think the addiction rate is not as high as many on this board believe.

The big difference as Rick points out is that RICK has little institutional support. RICK is probably influenced more by insiders than anything else.
