Fantasy North is a nude club on the north side of Houston. The building is a converted warehouse. They have the same furniture from when it opened 20 years ago. That furniture was second hand. Cover is 25.00 and you need a 12.00 wristband to get a LD.

Having worked at a hotel across the street, I can certify that clubs draw stalkers, a few of them even wearing a blue uniform with a badge and gun.
Also, because strippers are by nature flakey and flighty, there's no counting on them.
Finally, it would be nice of clubs had a computer screen at the front desk. Once you pay your cover, you can zip through and see who is in the club today. It wouldn't be that expensive to set up.

Until a couple of years ago, Houston clubs were so very frigid cold that I used to take a thick winter coat, no matter the time of year. I felt bad for some dancers, wearing only flimsy lingerie, and the temp was in the 50's. I think the recession made the clubs set their thermostats at more reasonable levels.

For artistic dancing, there are burlesque clubs. Burlesque is an accepted rising art form. Most strip clubs are bordellos in disguise. Most "dancers" don't really understand dance. They were raised in an age of hip hop and don't begin to understand waltz, cha cha, and salsa. Those have been relegated to the burlesque shows and some TV programs.
