She looked like a cop...

DES MOINES, Iowa -- A Des Moines man was hospitalized following an assault Tuesday night at the 2400 block of Drake Park.

Jabbar Faheem, 34, told police that his assailants believed a dancer at West Des Moines strip club Beach Girls to be a police informant and that he was attacked because his assailants thought he was involved with the dancer and acting as an informant as well.

Faheem was smoking outside a house with two acquaintances when he was attacked by one black male, two white males, an Asian male and two Hispanic males, according to police reports.

He sustained cuts to his head, face, arm and leg in the attack and was listed in fair condition at Mercy Medical Center.

No arrests have been made in the incident.

On the Dudesters comment, atleast it wasn't a racial hate crime. Just goes to show the progress that our country has made. That was a politically correct beatdown. Ok... The fact that the man got jumped isn't funny. He just had bad luck. Wrong place, wrong time, wrong perspective.
