They do have a better sense of smell. I remember when I was young and we had gas heat. My mother would say she smelled gas, but none of us (me, my father and brother) could smell it, but when the guy from the gas co. showed up he always found a leek.

You missed the point of my post. I want to know why it's considered fair to tax me at a higher rate based on the extra risks I take to get a high return (higher income) and exercised my brain to get out of a "McJob" flipping burgers and made enough money to be able to stop 'working' and be able to become an investor. "Progressive taxation" is just an attempt to make income redistribution sound less like take the money worked hard for and took high risks to make and giving it to some unmarried broad who knows that the more illegitimate brats she turns out the more money she gets every month that's stolen out of my pocket.
There is nothing fair about anything other than a flat tax. Actually, it would more "fair" to be the opposite of the current system since the 'rich' use way less government services than the lowest income people do. If you change to a pay-for-service-used model you then have a fair system, anything else is communism (and Hillary's nanny-state, which is even worse).

There should be a flat tax instead of the current rip off system. Where did the idea that someone that works smarter, not harder, or takes risks to fund start ups that may or may not give any return, should pay a higher percentage of the returns on those risks originate?

I'm in the same position as HD, but I don't know anyone in my area who frequents clubs and am now retired so there are no more trips out of town. I would go to a convention that was close to Philly, no more than about 3-4 hour max drive.

Since we don't all agree what the 'grade' of any particular lap dance is, how can we expect the dancers to understand. Also, as you said before, even you have a fav, although low on the list, that does very little mileage-wise compared to the other dancers.

I have known a couple of women (not dancers) that have gone through that and the fact that she is even considering dancing is great for her. I would support her in any way possible and if she is in my area (Phila., Pa.) let me know and I will go and get dances from her.

He is talking about commercial radio and tv broadcast station call letters, for example 1 that a lot of people around the country used to be familiar with in the early days of cable tv was WOR which was a station out of NYC that had a lot of older shows from the networks before widespread sindication deals were available everywhere.

Sounds to me like most of you are libertarians (although in the closet) as am I. We, as adults, don't need nanny's as the dems want to be, nor do we need to be forced to acknowledge Christ as the repubs mostly want. Unfortunately, you are right that the sheep (85% of the voters) vote for a party, and they get the government they deserve. What really needs to be done is a total top to bottom revamp of the system - every political office from pres down to dog catcher is a 6-year term and you can never hold that office again, and you also can never hold more than 4 political offices in your life. The founders of this country would be going out of their minds if they saw what happens today - people spending their entire working lives in some political office or other instead of actually working for a living.

I don't pay any attention to the market, although I do have substantial investments in stocks, since regardless of what it does today I haven't actually lost any money unless I sell today. Just buy and forget for a few years and you will do fine and NOT drive yourself nuts watching the ups and downs of the Dow or NASDAQ.

As a GENERAL rule, the Russkis are the ones that think they should get money just for being there (regardless of how bad or stuck up they are) and the Brazi girls are much more friendly and glad to be there and grateful for the money and attention.
