There is only one acceptable outcome for visiting a bikini bar and paying for overpriced girlie drinks. The girl sitting with you has to put her hand in your lap. Anything less is a waste of time and money.

My approach is based on my consulting experience. I ask questions and listen a lot. I offer compliments for positive things. I commiserate over their troubles. I do not problem solve or offer much advice on the first meeting. At the very least, I try to offer the respect I would expect from others. Why would strippers be any different from anyone else?

I have had to be rude only a few times. A polite No, or an excuse, usually works.
Samsung knows about the shot Mom at a Columbus club. I had to tell her No multiple times.
Recently at a dive club, I had a short, stout woman actually follow me around the bar as I worked my may through various groups and looked for a place to sit. She was a persistent one, and I had to tell her, rudely, that I did not want a dance. She then reached past me, and grubbed 75 cents off the bar in front of me (some other guy's tip). A girl next to me saw her do it, and we both laughed. Talk about a bottom feeder!

BIG is a relative term, isn't it? And subject to the environmental norms, which for strip clubs, means D's are sort of average.
I would go with anything bigger that DD's, but I suspect the obsessed guys are thinking much bigger than that.
I am reminded of a video I saw of a birthday party for a co-worker. The guys bought him a visit from a woman whose moniker was "Two Tons of Fun". Most of those two tons were concentrated in her huge, pendulous boobs. At one point, she sidled up behind the birthday boy, draped her boobs over his shoulders, and tied her boobs in a knot, Fascinating, if not exactly erotic!

I am very sorry to hear that. For all of our coarse comments here, many of form bonds of affection for the girls we see in the clubs. Unfortunately, many of the girls are working out issues, and some of them are on a downward trajectory in life.
My SO has taught me a great deal about drug addicts. She was an addict on the streets of Philly for 4 years. Her mom died of a heroin overdose when my SO was 5 years old. She also had friends in Philly who suffered overdoses, and she had a friend who died of complications from a needle-caused blood infection. In all of these cases, the addiction was stronger than anything else in their lives. They did all kinds of things to get money for drugs. Stripping, prostituting, stealing. Who provided them the money was of little consequence. If not someone in a club, then someone else on the street; or a pawn shop, or by panhandling, or by ripping off their friends.
So I think it is right to grieve. But I don't think it is right to feel guilty unless you put the drugs in her hands.
Having said that, I also have the personal experience of being with a person who was addicted, and I did everything I could to prevent it and to help turn it around. It took a huge effort; it hurt my career and was a factor in the failure of my marriage. But it was worth it. So if you find yourself where you know, and you can do something, that is the time to either get in or get out.
As for strip clubs, I still go, but I'm not a passive participant, and I'm not shy about giving advice to girls who seem to be in need. But I'm under no illusion that I can save them.

In my experience, there is a difference between bi-curious and true bisexuality. A lot of strippers fool around with other girls in settings like the clubs and at related parties. But over the long run, most of them give that up when they give up stripping.
Guys like the girl-girl thing because it reinforces our notion that these women are highly sexual and uninhibited. But our fantasies typically include asserting a heterosexual agenda.

Yes, unlike Vegas, what happens there doesn't always stay there. In no particular order, I have brought home:
- some very bad perfume-booze-smoke smells
- glitter
- lipstick on my cheek, ears and neck
- lipstick on my pants...um, near the zipper
- strange white residue (lotion, baby powder, cocaine?)
- various stains from body fluids
- long hairs of the wrong color
Fortunately, I have an understanding GF, whose gets pissed because I didn't take her with me.

You can learn a lot about swinging at web sites like swinglifestyle. In general, swingers are interested in forming lasting relationships that include socializing and other non-sexual activities. The majority are married couples in their 30,'s and 40's. All body types are represented. Single men do participate in swinger events, but usually by invitation only. Swingers are particularly disdainful of married men who cheat by going to events posing as a single guy. Some people go to events as voyeurs or exhibitionists. The majority are looking for opportunities to do "full swap", which is basically swapping partners. There is also a high degree of girl-girl play as a prelude to hetero sex, but very little bisexual male activity.
The events that have actual sexual activity are held at private houses or swing clubs. Other events held at regular nightclubs, bars or hotel ballrooms typically do not allow overt sexual activity; they are for meeting people, flirting, dancing, and making arrangements to meet again more privately.
If you are looking for sexual excitement similar to a strip club, but with more overt sexual acts, I would say forget it. You will feel out of place and people will avoid you. No money is exchanged between participants. Personal boundaries and preferences are respected.
If you have a significant other, and you BOTH are highly confident in your relationship, but want to spice it up with sexual fun with other couples, then maybe swinging is an option.

There is a publication called SlammerNews that publishes in Columbus Ohio and a few other places. Weekly roundup of mug shots. After a recent LE raid at a club there which I frequent, I looked through some back issues posted online and found a few of my stripper "friends" there. My best guess is that a majority of strippers have been in jail at one time or another.

Just to clarify (as I am feeling a bit defensive) when I forgot my credit card at a club,I was using it for a drink tab (with no extra service fees). I would never recommend using a card for cash, as the clubs add on big fees. However, since then I have rarely used my card in a club. One time losing it is enough.
I also forgot to mention, I regularly lose all ability to reason inside a club.

Left my credit card in a club once! Only defense is that I was extremely distracted. It was a classy place, so got it the next day, and no extra charges.
That being said, I prefer to club without a friend. I like my friends. Some of them like clubs. But all of them inhibit my club activities.

My SO is an ex stripper, and I have had many conversations with her and her friends about what affects the girls in the club. Guys' attitudes would be in the top 5 list. The primary attitude they do not like is a guy being dismissive; i.e., treating them like a commodity.
I am convinced that a positive attitude is an important factor over the long run, but may not be the "rate limiting" one in any given situation. Club rules, peer pressure, and each girl's personal limits, may control the mileage, and your winning personality may not be sufficient.

From my business travels, I would say my favorite destinations:
1) Phoenix (my hometown) - several great $10 lap dance factories
2) Detroit - a full range from upscale to dive, with extras in many clubs
3) Tampa - there is something about Mons...
4) NY Metro - for the dive clubs in northern NJ and southwestern CT
5) Honorable mentions to Providence, Miami, Dallas, Houston, East St. Louis, Indianapolis, and San Diego with Tijuana - all are worth visiting
On the flip, side, places to plan something other than clubbing on a business trip, include:
1) San Diego without Tijuana - what is the point?
2) Portland, OR - so many clubs, so little contact
3) Columbus, OH - regular clubs an exercise in frustration
4) NYC - do they think money grows on trees?
5) Wash DC - take a nap, visit a museum
6) Baltimore - hate the drink hustles
