Years ago I saw a dancer on stage take off a shoe and smack a tip rail patron in the face with it after he called her fat. She cut him pretty good, but I was told that he didn't press charges because he was drunk and didn't want his wife to find out where he got hurt...ran into a tree limb looking for that out-of-bounds ball, eh.
The dancer got fired on the spot.

How closely cameras are monitored depends on the club and degree of local law enforcement. Most cities have laws that prohibit what we really like to do with dancers - anything that looks like mileage is probably illegal. It takes an employee to monitor the cameras and employees cost money, so the owner needs to be serious about his need to see what's going on.
Owners of most clubs with liquor licenses like the dance activity to be within the law since liquor sales are a major profit center for the establishment. They don't care about the dancers so much, but they care a great deal about their liquor license.
Many clubs enjoy a low level of LE, and therefore may be very lax about camera monitor; many clubs don't have a person who watches in real time, but camera images may be recorded in case something bad happens...the Wal-Mart parking lot approach.
At a lot of clubs, alcohol or not, the only areas monitored are outside...I guess if they see LE coming they can warn the dancers or lock the front door. I believe that if you go in a club and see a monitor in the entrance area that has multiple-screen shots of OTC cameras, then mileage is probably higher because management is more concerned with what's coming in than what's going in....well, you know what I mean.
Dancers ALWAYS know where cameras are located. They also know how much monitoring goes on, and what the field of view of the cameras are. Some dancer has already f*cked a manager and got him to spill the beans on the entire system.
Cameras have advanced a great deal in the past few years. The female day manager of a club I frequent took me to the "control room" and we watched some VIP action very close-up. I snickered at the below-averageness of the tool protruding from unzipped trou. She pulled the camera back some, and I recognized the dancer as being my ATF with tool in mouth obviously cheating on me! A few more wise-ass remarks about "less than a mouthful" and something about toothpicks on my part, and a little more camera pull back revealed that the PL being spied was wearing the same kind of shorts I always wear to the club. Manager babe bragged about how she could do the zoom thing even on previously recorded footage. Then she zoomed back in to count the bills being peeled off the money roll. LOL, unf*cking believable, this guy paid her $200 for about 30 seconds of d*ck licking. What an idiot!

I've always thought that shaving might be a nice OTC foreplay activity with a dancer. She could handle the razor - make sure you are observing her requests for compensation, of course - don't want to piss her off with a razor AND your balls in her hand.

Unfortunately, your OP came across as though you might be LE looking for another stripe. Your persistent, argumentative and defensive style lends itself to the LE suspicion.
Keep in mind that most dancers are stripping because they lack any other marketable skill aside from offering their body for viewing, touching or penetrating. So it's flesh = $$ for most of them. If you are looking for sex with a stripper, all you have to do is say something like "gee, this would be a whole lot more fun if we were somewhere else all by ourselves", during a lap dance. With some strippers you will get a pretty quick understanding of what's available (or not), and with others it might be the next time you're in the club and get a dance from her. If you're not a real pushy a**hole, and you took a shower today, many girls will at least consider what you are suggesting, and give you some indication of their willingness to participate.
Negotiating a fair price is equally as simple. It's just sex. Done in private, on a clean bed, it has a par value of around $200 each. Ugly and fat girls get less; extraordinarily hot babes get more. San Diego prices might be 50% higher than South Dakota. But only a drunken fool would pay $1000 for sex...except with Vanessa Hudgens or Alexis Dziena or Megan Fox or.....

I think most dancers expect that getting together outside of the club will include a couple hundred bucks. Unless you are specific about the fact that you are not planning to spend as much for dinner at the table as you might for dinner at the Y, then you might have a disappointed stripper, or likely she wouldn't agree to get together at all because it's just not worth it to her.
Did the $20 cover the cost of the baby sitter?

Dropped by the club this afternoon and got my Valentine a couple of days early; current fav did FS for the price of the dances only and refused a tip. She said she was showing her appreciation for my past generosity. I'll take it!

A couple of years ago, I felt sorry for a dancer similar in dimensions as described here and got a dance from her. I expected that her weight might cause me great distress, but not so. She knew how to straddle without causing discomfort for me. She allow access to all regions of her body - some took a while to find...LOL. Her industrial-sized spare tire made a good cover for what she was doing to me with her hands. Excellent personality was refreshing.
Without being perverse, I looked for her the next time I was in that club, but was told she had moved on. While she was certainly not a bad experience, I doubt that I will regularly seek out fat girls in strip clubs.
