IMHO, whether or not the reviews or legit is of some question, but according to this site, and the reviews, HOT LAP DANCE in New York seems to have the most mileage. Do some research on that club if you have not already. I have not been there, but a lot of the reviews are, ahem, graphic.

do whatever you are comfortable with. I also suggest you work the dayshift. You will be far less scrutinized by other dancers as well as management. I just wouldn't "boast" too much to your coworkers. Keep things to yourself

Simple here...a few years ago there was a club in Vegas which was known as an extras club. There was a gal there who was an older blonde and could squirt like Cytherea. Since the VIP rooms were totally private and there were no bouncers, anything could be had. By the time the 30 minutes was done, everything in the booth was soaked. I was a regular for years and miss that place. I still wonder where she went.

As a lot of you may know I have been married to a now recently ex dancer for the past 10 years which is longer than I was married to my "conventional" wife. Here is it in a nutshell with the pros and cons
PROS
generally they are attractive and stay that way for many years

Here in Las Vegas, the recent antismoking laws were enacted so that anyplace that serves food as well as liquor is non smoking. This was a real problem for the local small taverns who have video poker, food and booze. A few of them partitioned off the bars so that you can smoke and drink at the same time, but not eat. You have to also know that essentially the casinos are exempt. Interesting, the only place you can't smoke in a casino is in the food court (if they have one) or a restaraunt.
Guess who was behind the anti smoking statutes? Thats right, the casino. Oh yes by the way, there is no smoking court, no cigarette police, and nobody enforces the shit anyway. What a total waste.

I think a well done classy tattoo is fine. My wife, a former dancer has a couple, which if you were not in a club would never be visible. Not even if she were wearing a micro mini skirt and an extremely low cut dress. I am a professional and have a couple as well which are never visisble to the general public. ie they are not on my arms etc. I think tattoos have become far more mainstream over the past few years.
On the other hand, a girl who looks like she was a practice canvas for her boyfriend or the local tattoo shop screams of trash.

Sounds to me if he gets off talking to girls in a club like that. Given the response you got, I would have to assume that if he were in a regular club asking a girl for to dance with him, he might have gotten a similar response from her. I feel this is his way of turning the tables on women. Unfortunately, there are some people who have little success finding people of the opposite sex for meaningful relationships, and when in a situation where they wield the power, they are compelled to act that way.
A funny story which you might like is as follows.....Many years ago, I was at a club and politely asked a girl if she would like to dance. They were fast songs, and nothing slow so I could never be accused of groping her or anything like that. By the way, due to my age this was long before the "dirty dancing" era, and it was at a "disco" during my grad school years. By the way I am NOT considered totally unfortunate either and am nothing but polite. At any rate after I asked her do dance, her reply was "Hell no, not with you." No thank you would have be fine, and I would have left on my way. Well being quick on the comeback, my response to her was, "I guess that rules out the possibility of a blowjob in the parking lot later!"

Cute trick. About the only thing I know how to do is to snatch a quarter out of someones hand before they close it. It takes a lot of practice but if you cup your hand loosely with your fingers facing toward you and your knuckles facing away from you, the trick is to quickly hit the hand holding the quarter in a sharp downward motion. You have to be fast, but when you master it, the quarter will bounce up into your hand. Just be careful the person you are doing it to is not over a table or something since you will force their hand into the table, and possibly hurt them. Not a good idea if you are trying to impress someone at a bar. Practice a lot before you try it. While it works pretty consistently, you have to be very fast.

At least 40 people tested positive after the health department treated an exotic dancer from the Dominican Republic several months ago and sent her home, according to a government news release issued Friday.
Health officials struggled to identify those exposed, launching a public campaign to urge anyone who had contact with the woman to seek treatment. They now believe they have identified everyone infected.

OZY...LOL got to agree with you on the unemployed guy with the guitar who is forming the band. My wife used to be a stripper and her ex's all had guitars, as well as most of her co-workers boyfriends or husbands. most amateur night girls are just girls from other clubs looking to make a few bucks. One of the problems is that clubs often require dance cards or sherrif's cards (Las Vegas) so true amateurs can't dance. Wet t-shirt contests at local bars are usually better and a different story.
