Dives vs bigger clubs

Hey? what are the pros and cons of the smaller dives type clubs? Would it behoove me to "Pop my dancing cherry" so to speak at a smaller place or should I go more mainstream. Ive went to both and well I dont speak russian or need a green card and the main steam spots got some real pros that scare me to death LOL
I was figuring if I made it at a dive Id make it anywhere. But maybe that only works for New York.

The smaller places (and they're not all dives) are usually more casual with a more laid-back atmosphere and lower prices. From a dancer's perspective they usually have lower tip-outs (which means you don't have to earn as much to take home the same amount) and often have more of a local blue-collar crowd. Other than that you can't really say much because there's so much variety, both in smaller and larger places. There's not much correlation between mileage and size of club (although the highest mileage clubs are usually smaller.) Nor is there much correlation between attractiveness/friendliness of dancers and club size.

I think the first questions you should ask yourself is do you want to dance nude or not? And do you want to do private dances in a back room or not? And how much touching are you going to be comfortable with? Girls often have strong preference in those three areas, and that's what often determines their choice of clubs.

In some clubs the girls make most of their money dancing on stage, and private dances either don't exist or little physical contact is allowed. In other clubs they make it doing private dances in a private or semi-private room and there's a lot of physical contact. That difference might be your first cut in choosing a club.

Have you visited any clubs in your area? What did you like or dislike?

well i visited smiles2 which was ok but no one spoke english. As for a blue collar crowd I like that I was raised by blue collar folks and am proud of it. I am educated and have traveled extensively but that really doesnt make a diffrence I like smaller places with a laid back atmosphere. As for clintele an asshole is an asshole no matter what tax bracket there in.
Im looking for a bikini club because in nj they dont serve drinks in nude clubs. And I would prefer places that offer private dances cause in all honesty Id probably fall of a damn stage LOL. where have you been in nj?

The only two that I've been in fairly recently (about 3 years ago) were Erotic Cafe and Playhouse Lounge, both near North Philly. I've been in a buch of others too but so long ago that it isn't relevant. I really like Erotic Cafe, it's the kind of place that I prefer - small, laid back, moderately priced, private dances in a decent semi-private room, mileage fairly high but nothing illegal (that I know of) and open during the day. I didn't care for Playouse at all - a high presure place with mostly foreign girls. It also has the reputation of girls performing illegal acts but I don't know that for a fact. I don't recall if either place is fully nude but I think they both serve alcohol (sometimes the alcohol vs. nude laws are local or county ones, not state ones.)

IMHO, whether or not the reviews or legit is of some question, but according to this site, and the reviews, HOT LAP DANCE in New York seems to have the most mileage. Do some research on that club if you have not already. I have not been there, but a lot of the reviews are, ahem, graphic.

They have the same rules for clubs in NY state...nude clubs can't serve any booze, so a lot of places are just topless (with booze) or "juice bars" (nude). NYC might have some slightly different rules though, I'm not sure.

I think you might be able to thank Giuliani for that law too...he's a dummy IMO.

The laws regarding liquor and pussy in the same club were written decades ago. As much as I dislike Giuliani I don't think we can blame him for that. We CAN blame him for passing re-zoning laws that closed half the clubs in NYC and cleaned up Times Square (good or bad depending on how you look at it).

There are similar laws all over Florida regarding how much nudity can exist in a club that sells booze. I don't drink much so I don't really care but the concept of the $10 soda is a bit annoying...

When I was in Florida e and a girlfriend went to Scarletts in Hallendale. not only was it expensive to get in but the ATM charged a 12 dollar fee to take out cash. As nice as the place was the prices of stuff was crazy I mean a 14 dollar Red bull OMG! On the bright side single girls got a free bottle of champagne which was great cause my girlfriend ran off with one of the dancers all nite so the booze was all mine LOL
