Ninety Nine percent of the time I go to strip clubs it is alone. I have been doing it for years and have been to clubs all over the country. Never once have I had a problem or even felt threatened at all. Never heard of anyone being mugged at a strip club either. Most clubs maintain some form of security. Bouncers, managers, armed bartenders or something. Keep in mind that they are primarily a cash business so for their own sakes they maintain tight security. If the clubs you are going to do not have good security find a better class of strip club.

Depends on the local law enforcement and how they chose to handle the situation. I was at a club in 2000 when it was raided. The only people who were ticketed were dancers. All the customers had their id checked for outstanding warrants. If you didn't have any outstanding warrants you were escorted out of the club to your car and sent on your way. Those with outstanding warrants were at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Whghlost. Don't be so naive. You have no idea what is really going on between this guy and the stripper. You only know what she told you which is probably a lie or only a small piece of the actual truth. Based on the way she treated you she obviously values her relationship with him more than the one with you.
Either look for a new favorite or accept the fact that you are going to be a 2nd, 3rd ... whatever alternative to her.

Nothing to get upset about. Think of this as a educational experience. Whenever a stripper has multiple regulars the one who is willing to spend more money will always win out over the one who has less money. Nothing personal just the economics of strip clubs.
It works the other way as well. A customer is willing to spend his money on a particular stripper until one he likes more comes along.
The trick is not to get emotionally involved and think that there is more to your relationship than there really is.

Menus for extras have become more and more common. In some areas they have become the norm rather than the exception. As long as the economy continues to remain in the toilet they will continue to expand.

About four years ago I received a two year gift subscription for Christmas. I agree with everything that has been said so far. The playmates all looked alike there were no real celebrities but most of all I found the whole magazine to lack anything of interest and was completely boring. With each issue I would page through it looking for something that would catch my interest and could never find anything. Only some of the cartoons were mildly funny. I was glad when my subscription finally expired and it no longer added weight to my trash.
I don't think the basic format of the magazine has ever changed. It may have been cutting edge back in the 50's and 60's but we have cable, satellite TV, and the internet now and it is behind the times and in desperate need of an update.

What exactly are you looking for?
If it's high mileage then I would suggest Niagara Falls instead of Toronto. Same distance from Ohio. Also you will probably be crossing the border in Detroit. There are a few clubs in the Detroit area you may want to check out and save yourself the extra drive.

Every bachelor on the stage show I have ever seen has been designed to humiliate, degrade and abuse the bachelor. That is a given. If you don't want to participate tell the DJ. He is usually the one who picks the girls. He may be a prick and you will have to tip him to get out of it. Although sometimes the bachelors friends who pay for the event might request you. In that case you will have no choice.
My advice is to get used to it. It is part of the job. If you really can't then other ways around the situation is to work days. You rarely see a bachelor party during the day. Find a club that doesn't cater to bachelor parties. They are a some that don't. Find a club whose form of bachelor abuse is one that you can tolerate. Every club is different in what they do some are worse that others.

The first year it was on it was on pay for view. I was at a friends house for a Superbowl party and he paid to get it. It was nothing special. Didn't really show any bare T&A. Just a bunch of women playing lame football in lingerie. You got to see about as much as you do on the annual Victoria Secret specials. So if they didn't show anything on pay for view I'm sure it would be a total waste of time on a network channel.

How about no annoying shot girls. Lap dance rooms that are completely private with doors that lock. No men's room attendant and outstanding waitress service. Comfortable seats everywhere and enough seats to accommodate everyone who has paid the cover charge even at peak times. A pleasant DJ who plays long songs like "Stairway to Heaven" and "In a Godda Da Vida". Dancers who are smoking hot. Great food for low prices and drinks like you would pour at home for a reasonable price. Hey I think I nodded off and was dreaming.

Robofan why is it unfortunate for people to sue each other if they feel aggrieved?
argedbuy First let me ask are you an attorney? The reason I feel that it is unfortunate for people to sue each other is that I feel that most legitimate incidences can be solved between the parties concerned without involving the legal system which in my experience only makes money for the lawyer and court systems involved. I agree with you that the looser should pay but we don't have that system now. So what we have is is a system that allows legal extortion like the case described.

Have any of you been to Las Vegas? Prostitution is already quasi legal. All you have to do is go to any bar in any casino after dark and you will find it filled with women who will accompany you back to your room for a price. There are no police and you will never get arrested. The casino's would never allow it and the citizens of Las Vegas realize where they eat and they are not about to sh** there. So what does it matter what the law is if no one enforces it? As far as the legal whore houses in Nevada why bother? They are ridiculously expensive and don't offer anything you can't already find on the strip for a fraction of the price.

Congratulations on having your eyes opened to the the fact that strippers are like any other group of human beings. Some are bad and some are good. I have worked in a major Corporation for over 30 years and I can say for a fact that I have had less strippers try to rip me off then I have had coworkers stab me in the back. In every aspect of life you will find people who are out for them self and will screw anyone who get in their way and those who are not. The trick is to recognize the difference and apparently you have. Learn from this and good luck in the future.

Some people will sue over anything. I say if your going to sit next to the stage you should be paying attention to what is going on. Over the years I have seen far worse accidents than that. I have seen strippers spinning on the poles and kick customers in the head and knock them out. At one place they had 15 foot poles with what looked like ornamental round balls on the top of the polls. One night I saw a stripper climb the pole when she got near the top she flipped upside down and kicked the ornamental ball sending it flying. It must have weighed 10 pounds or more. Fortunately it didn't hit anyone but it landed on a table knocking the drinks and ash trays around like bowling pins. Unfortunately today we live in a litigious society where everything is someone else's fault.

What type of DVD burner do you have. I'm no expert or computer geek but I know that there are 2 types of DVD burners. There is a +R and there is a -R and when you burn DVDs you have to use the right kind of blank DVD for your burner either +R for a +R burner or -R for a -R burner. I have a +R DVD burner and have found that the brand disk you use can also make a difference. I use Verbatim DVD+R blank disks and everything I burn works in any player. I have tried other brands in the past and had mixed results. Memorex was the worst brand I used. None of them ever played in any device even in the burner itself. So the only advice I can give you is to make sure that you are using the right type of disk for your burner and that you try Verbatim disks they seem to have the highest success rate at least for me. DVD's seem to be way more temperamental than CD's.

It's hard to generalize. There are many reasons why someone becomes a stripper. I think that there are some who like it and many that dislike it but do it for the money. There are many aspects to being a stripper these days at least in my part of the country . There is the aspect of stripping and there is lap dancing and there is extras. First stripping. There are those strippers that are exhibitionists who love to parade around with little or no clothing on in front of others. They love that part of the job. It turns them on. Then there are what I call the penis crazed. I know some strippers who love to play with penises. They love the lap dancing aspects of stripping. Then there are the ones that do extras. I have meet a few that seem to be nymphomaniacs who can't get enough but most seem to do it for the money and pretend to like it to earn more money. Then there are those that are donging it because they are single mothers with no other means of support and those who are putting themselves through school. I have met some who need large amounts of money due to medical reasons and so on and so on. Then there is dealing with managers. DJ's, bouncers and constant competition with other strippers. Pay outs, rip offs, and ass hole customers. So to answer your question how many stripper like what they do. It's like every other job some days they do some days they don't just like the rest of us. It depends on what happens on any given day. The real question is how many can carve out a niche and are good at what they do? Those are the ones that we all seek out.

"She's not the one in "The Wrestler"...that's Marisa Tomei"
Sorry got confused thought you were saying Jessica Biel was in The Wrestler. If Marisa Tomei is in it then she will definitely deliver the goods. She had done a lot of nude scenes lately.
"Biel supposively has already agreed to some level of nudity in the other movie that I mentioned."
I hope your right. I would love to see her do a hot strip tease. The name of her movie is Powder Blue. Given the fact that she has recently publicly expressed regret in a nude photo session she did a few years ago in which she showed almost nothing I don't hold out much hope for her strip scene. Then there is always the unrated DVD.

Typical government philosophy punish the innocent and ignore the guilty. The vast majority of customers at a strip club have legitimate jobs where they already pay a huge percentage of their income in taxes. So what does the government do they pass legislation to make them pay even more. Whereas almost every employee in a strip club works for cash tips almost none of it get reported and almost no taxes are paid. Makes me wonder if when a person get elected to office if they have to under go some kind of treatment until they are rendered completely stupid.

My guess is that Jessica Biel will not deliver the goods in The Wrestler. Just like Rose McGowan didn't in the beginning strip scene in Grindhouse or Lindsay Logan in I know who killed me. I hate when actresses play strippers and then refuse to take anything off. What's the point. I think that's why Showgirls has become a cult classic because Elizabeth Berkley definitely takes it all off. Can't wait for the blu ray version.
Here is some movie stripper trivia. Mia Kirshner who plays Jenny Schecter in showtimes the L Word. Early in her career she played a stripper in a movie called Exotica. Rumor has it they had to wait to release the movie for several years after it was shot cause she was only 16 at the time they made it. I've seen it and it's not so good but was shot in Canada so there is a lot of completely nude dancers in the background. Mia doesn't show a whole lot but enough that if the ratings board would have known she was only 16 it probably would have never been released. True or urban legend who knows but it's still available for rent so check it out if you want and decide for yourself.

shadiwcat I'm with you. I see a lot of reviews which are meaningless. Sometimes I wonder if the person writing just has no clue or is just trying to get a free months membership. What especially bugs me is when someone writes a review of a place and doesn't even get a lap dance. How can that inform anyone?
I don't mean this to be a knock on Founder because in the past I have informed him of suspicious reviews and he has always taken action but with the hundreds of reviews from time to time some of them slip through. In fact overall I commend him on a job well done on this site.
Let me suggest if I may that instead of the Value rating which is so subjective and pretty much meaningless that it be replaced with a Mileage rating with some very non subjective values. Perhaps with a drop down menu For example:
10 - FS offered or given
9 - BBBJ offered of given
8 - CBJ offered or given
7 - BBHJ offered or given
6 - Thur the pants HJ offered or given
5 - Thur the pants stick shifting and touching of uncovered area allowed.
4 - Grind only and some touching allowed
3 - Some private parts rubbing with her legs
2 - Some rubbing of her leg on mine
1 - Complete air dance.
0 - I didn't participate or don't want to comment.
This at least wouldn't throw the scores off so much.
This would let you know what to expect when going to a new place.
These are only suggesting and can certainly be refined and improved but you get the point. Maybe they are too explicit. If so they certainly can be toned down. Perhaps 10 is not enough and we need to go to 20 per item.
I think that the other categories could also be made more absolute. Such as club rating. Dancer rating will always be subjective.
I offer this up as not so much as a criticism but as a way to further standardize the reviews and make this site even better than it already is.
What does everyone think? Your input is welcome.

It probably depends on the area of the country where you are talking about.
In the Detroit area most of the top strip clubs used to have golf outings. Each foursome would have one to three golfers and one and one or two dancers depending on the ratio you wanted. They usually had a shotgun start (one foursome starting at each hole at the same time for those unfamiliar with the term). The cost used to be about $125 or $150 dollars. This included golf, carts and a private dinner, drinks and door prizes back at the club after the golf outing. It was never said but you were also expected to tip the dancers in your foursome. This could be anything between two and five hundred dollars each depending on what all occurred during the outing. At the golf outing they always had waitresses driving around in drink carts and the drinks were free. Usually by the time you were done with the first couple of holes the dancers were topless or completely nude. It was always a lot of fun and a good time was had by all. Dancers would be giving lap dances while you drove the cart and let's just say when putting you weren't always aiming at the whole the golf course placed on the green. Thing could even go beyond that depending on the dancer you had. They were always a lot of fun and never a rip off.
Then some one ratted them out to a local news station. They went out and hid in the woods and bushes and filmed some of the activities. They ran the story day and night for about a week digitizing out all the nudity. They even tried to interview some of the participants and the golf course manager. I think it was sweeps week and you know how they can sensationalize stuff to get higher ratings. They would have you think the world was coming to an end because of these golf outings. I'm sure they embarrassed a lot of people and a lot of married men has some explaining to do.
That ended all the golf outings. There hasn't been one since.
I used to go to them and some advice is to make sure you know the dancers you will be with for the day. If you have a favorite or one you like arrange that they will be the ones you get it will usually be a lot more fun then to be one you don't know who is randomly selected. Also ask the dancers ahead of the event what goes on. If they have been to one before they will usually tell you the real scoop.

At the clubs where I hang out there is a noticeable difference between day and night shifts in general. Keep in mind there is always exceptions to any generality.
The day time women are just as good looking as the night women on average but they tend to be a little older usually in their mid to late 20's and even into their 30's if they can keep their looks up enough to still compete. They are more experienced and know how to please a man. They also realize that they must please their customers or they won't have any in a very short time. Many are single mothers so they work while the kids are in school and take their jobs very seriously. They are more professional and career minded and much more reliable. Day time customers tend to be older as well and you see a lot of business men entertaining clients. The atmosphere is more laid back it's less crowded and the pace is slower.
Night Shift. The first thing you notice is that the average age of the dancers drops. You get mostly the 18 to mid 20 year olds another words the party girls. It's difficult to get a lap dance right after shift change because most of the dancers are more interested in having a few drinks before they get started. I have found that you don't really want one for a couple of hours anyway. Once they get several drinks into them they loosen up and anything is possible. What they have going for them is youth. Nothing quite like a smoking hot 18 year old with silky smooth skin. Some night shifters know how to please a man and others are just beginning to learn. They are much less professional not career minded and pretty unreliable. If they tell you to come back and see them next Thursday cause they will be working you probably have a 50/50 chance that they will actually be there. The night time customers also get younger, the music usually gets louder and the pace quickens. It can be more crowded at night and on Friday and Saturday nights it is absolutely packed.
Personally I enjoy both shifts depending on my mood. Years ago I was probably 80% night and 20% days now that I'm older it's just the opposite. As far as mileage goes it always depends on the dancer and not on the shift. Although there is always less eyes to see what's going on during the day shift. The one club I go to does not even have a bouncer during the day but has several at night. As far as OTC experiences I have found no difference between day and night shift. I have found it equally easy to have them regardless of shift but in pure numbers I have had more with night shifters due to the fact that I only recently have shifted from primarily a night shift person to a day shift person.
Once again these are generalities and there are always exceptions.
