As someone who isn't a big proponent of marriage for ANYBODY, I did get married in 2013, right after they threw out DOMA and PropH8 here in Cali. It just felt right at the time. I still continue my mongering, and she continues her shopping. I don't tell her where I go, and she doesn't tell me what she buys. A perfect arrangement :)

@motorhead - that's all well and good, but as someone who's tax returns were once completely fucked up due to my marriage being recognized by my state but not by the Feds, let me tell you - IT SUCKED. You have to get everyone on board or it becomes ridiculous for couples to be recognized by the feds but not by their own state. It's messy and a logistics nightmare....not to mention a paperwork nightmare when it comes to taxes, legal shit, insurance. You don't even know what a headache it can be. For that reason alone at least now everybody is on the same page when it comes to recognizing marriage.

Sorry but us "homos" are fucking tired from all of the hard work we did for gaining marriage rights.

This reminded me ofg when I first started harvesting strippers phone numbers. Rather than risk my wife picking up my phone and finding names like Diamond, Chanel or Jade on my phone, I labeled them all guys names - Chanel became Charles, Jade became Jim, etc. Seemed like such a great idea at the time until I started mixing them all up. Sadly ranukam, no. I wish that I had. I just assumed that she'd always be there. I haven't been to BE-LAX for a couple of months, but a dancer that works there and posts regularly on a local SC board indicated that Carmen was fired.
