@sjg- that's an incorrect assumption. Of course they are wearing makeup and wearing their stripper heels! Its always important regardless of the gender of the customers. It's not a woman's music festival out in the middle of the desert where women are huddled around singing "kumbayah". It's a stripclub and has all of the elements that make it a stripclub, including real live strippers with all the trimmings. They are strippers trying to make some cash like in any other club setting so they still have to look their best. Just because the customers are all women doesn't change that.

Started in 2004 at the (now defunct) Wild Goose in Inglewood, Ca. Spent the majority of my early clubbing years there pretty much exclusively before venturing out to new places when it closed for good in 2008.

Welcome to TUSCL.
A couple of things-
First off, there are also women mongers here like myself, so it isn't only "gentlemen".
Secondly, there is no single recipe for successful OTC ventures. It depends greatly on many different factors- who you are, where you club, etc. Have you done a search to read any previous threads about OTC? There are tons here. First thing I'd recommend is for you to browse thru what has already been discussed here about OTC opportunities.

@GoVikings- I can't speak for straight women since I have no idea what they find attractive in men, but as a perpetually horny gay gal I am very visual. Most of my gay gal pals are the same way. Maybe lesbians are more visual than most straight women simply due to our wiring. Someone should do a study ;)
And FWIW I have never heard my straight gal pals say that they were interested in seeing ANY male dancers. Many think that it's gross. Even they like watching female strippers more then male stripper. Go figure.

It's pretty well known that the main discussion in the DR (besides fighting on the phone with their baby daddies or accusing each other of lying, cheating and stealing) is US. We are a big part of their chit chat in the back. Not only do they eagerly tell me this, but on those instances where I have to go thru a DR to use the ladies room I have heard it first hand. And it's rarely pretty. Most of it is negative. But every once in a while they will say something nice. But not too often.

It is kind of mind boggling to flag down a dancer (showing obvious interest) and have her not be interested in giving you a dance. Could be several reasons why they do that, but that doesn't really matter. She should have indicated that she wasn't interested in giving you a dance and not even stayed.
Funny how strippers bitch about us wasting their time but apparently that's a one-way street.
