The finger length thing isn't true. A bunch of mixed gendered friends and I compared finger lengths and it was all over the map. Some men had longer index fingers, and some women (like myself) had longer ring fingers. Hardly a scientific basis to determine the true gender of someone.

Yup.....getting ignored sucks. It's much more likely to happen during dayshift when more regulars come in. It still happens from time to time, but now instead of getting pissed about it, I just chuckle to myself thinking that those dancers will go home broke, and I'll just head out to a different club and spend my hard earned money on some ladies that want to earn some money.
You're absolutely right, vm...ultimately it's their loss. What I can figure out is how come THEY haven't figured that out?

The first time I checked out one of the Rhino's here in LA they scanned my drivers license. Like troop, I was also not told why. On subsequent visits they didn't do it again. Still, I was worried that I might start getting some advertisements or crap like that in the mail. That's all I need for the SO to see something like that!

When I first started clubbing I used to try and remember each and every dancer that I got dances from. Guess it was the novelty and newness of the experiences. It seems so long ago.
Nowadays I get so many dances from different ladies at different clubs that I need a Take-A-Number dispenser at my table.

I love tall women. I'm actually on the taller side myself for a woman (5'7"), but I love to get dances from tall girls. A few of them have been almost too gentle during lapdances, and when I've asked them why, they've responded with "I don't want to crush you!". How silly! I just pull them closer and when they see that I didn't break in two, their dances becoame ALOT better.

well, most dancers have been run off the board by some people giving them a hard time. Just like in the clubs, there are plenty of misogynists here, and they just can't wait to anonymously diss all over any dancer that dares to post here. Most dancers get fed up with the bullshit and just leave. Really can't blame them. It's a shame, because they really do add a different perspective to many of our topics. FWIW, most posters here are respectful of others. Too bad a few asshole posters can ruin things for everyone.

With very rare exception I usually don't even look at a dancer with very short hair. There have been one or two exceptions over the years, but IMO very few women can really pull it off well.

You're not the only female here (I'm female, but not a dancer), but you're probably the only dancer posting on TUSCL right now. Dancers don't tend to last too long here, for many reasons. Hope you decide to hang around for awhile.

I'm a terrible liar, and since I go to the same clubs alot, I don't mess with any customer shit.
Besides - my real life is just bizarre enough to keep the convo going (hopefully resulting in a great set o' dances).

A dancer giving you her number is most often a way for her to establish contact so that she can let you know when she'll be working, so that you can come on down to the club and dump some coin on her. Typically ITC stuff. Sorry to burst your bubble there.

It used to happen to me alot, but it's happening less often now. I attribute it to more dancers in the clubs, so the selection is greater to pick from. I'll usually find at least one girl I like. My problem is that there are often too many desirable girls, and not enough $$$ to go around.

Whenever I feel a twinge of guilt I buy my SO something financially equivalent to what I dropped at the SC that night. To date I'm in about $100. I obviously don't feel guilty very often.

I'm also a daytime clubber so usually forced valet parking isn't too much of an issue. One club in my rotation is so money hungry that they try to force a valet fee of $4.50 to self park on weekday afternoons! I can see having a valet option on weekend nights....but during the day on a Tuesday? I pissed & moaned about it enough that they just let me park w/o charging me so they don't have to hear me bitch about it again. Sometimes the squeaky wheel does get the grease!

I too prefer to fly solo in clubs. But the one SC buddy I do go with occasionally I happened to meet in a SC a few years ago. He's a cool guy, but I only hang with him maybe 1 out of 10 times. He does come in handy during those other 9 times, tho, since I tell my SO that I'm with him. My SO absolutely despises my buddy, and refuses to ever even acknowledge him, so I don't have to worry about her possibly calling him up to verify my whereabouts. I wish I could be as open in my escapades as gmd is w/ his SO, but since I can't, an "alibi" buddy is the next best thing.
