This may sound mean, but I don't feel sorry for anyone that gets robbed in places like Sherri's Cabaret, the Can-Can Room, or the Diamond Cabaret in Vegas. There have been a shitload of write-ups & reviews about those clubs (all negative) that should warn anyone with a fourth grade reading level to STAY AWAY. If people did a little research on sites like this one before their trips they would save themselves huge headaches and wasted $$$.

But my head is definitely playing by typically male rules.

I think alot of PL's tend to over-analyze the clubbing experience, rather than just accepting it for what it really is - a big fantasy game full of lies (strippers) and perversity (customers). The way it always has been and always will be.

Sure.
Head to downtown or some of the heavily latino neighborhoods in south LA. Look for the girls walking the streets. They won't be classy, beautiful, or even have most of their teeth. But they will sure be real.

In the very rare event that there is more than a 5 minute interval between dancers on stage, I leave & head elsewhere.
I can watch TV or surf on my phone at home. When I'm at the SC I wanna see nekkid ladies dancing, dammit!

To date I've only met one dancer that admitted to being an ex-con. She claimed she did 3 years for forgery & extortion. Looked like a blonde girl-next-door type. She seemed nice enough, but I passed on any dances and wondered if it's a good thing to be telling customers things like that.

I really don't care either way, but one thing that really pisses me off is when dancers that do go on stage are called away from lapdances to do so. Only one of the clubs I frequent does this, but it's annoying as hell to have a dancer bolt during a hot set to go onstage. Argh!

I don't know why, but really dykey women unnerve me. I've only met one once in a stripclub, and at first I thought she was a short fat guy. Turns out she's a really nice...er....woman. To date she's been the only other lone female customer that I have ever run into, since most women customers don't fly solo, and especially not in the daytime.

Sadly, gmd, is is all-too-true in my case. Most women I've talked to seem to HATE stripclubs with a passion, and most wives/gf/SO's especially detest them. It apparently has something to do with insecurities and other things that I myself don't fully understand.
And if I don't understand it, what chance do you poor shleps have? ;)

The more a club pushes specials, the more likely they are to be shortening the songs ALOT. One club I really like is always having 3for$40 nude dance specials. Last time I was there I timed the 3 songs @ a total of 6 minutes. Two minutes a song. Sheesh - some "bargain"!

Nah.....Since I rarely drink myself, I'm too cheap to spring for $12 dancer drinks (you KNOW they'll always order the top shelf stuff).
I sometimes seek out the slightly tipsy dancers that have gotten there on someone else's dime.
Jeezus - I'm a cheap bastard sometimes :)

Dang, rick - that does sound depressing.
I don't think I could handle the in-your-face reality of seeing how some of these women actually live. I guess that's why a nice clean (and sometimes fancy) hotel room keeps that perfect fantasy & illusion going after you've left the club.

I've done the 2 girl(technically it becomes 3 girl!) dances several times and was disappointed each time. Too much going on in too small an area. I don't know why I keep trying. Kinda like Charlie Brown w/ Lucy holding the football - I fall for the pitch everytime.
Unlike ITC, I have had major success with threesomes OTC. But that's a different thread.

yeah this topic has been discussed a bunch of times.
From my experiences I believe many (if not most) dancers are bi, and a handful are lesbian. One club I frequent seems to have alot of gay dancers. Don't know why.
Personally, I don't care what they are as long as they ACT like they are gay when they are dancing for me.

Looks like our beloved Goose will stay in business a bit longer. Rumor has it that the city of Inglewood & the mighty MTA can't cough up the cash in this lousy economy to buy out the Goose's owner. Ha!! I was just in the club tonight and it was hoppin! Hope it continues on forever!
