Rotation vs. 'Working the Floor'

Can I just say that hate working-the-floor dancers!!! Overall, WtF dancers are still relatively small compared to rotation dancers, but the numbers seem to be rising, especially at Shadowcat's favorite club. Ideally, WtFs should be older, heavier dancers who really shouldn't get onstage anymore but lately there have been more younger and prettier dancers who now don't get on rotation, I guess mainly because they think they're too goo to dance onstage for a dollar or two. Another reason could be the amount of other dancers on rotation already. Even some older and/or heavier dancers who SHOULD be WtF are still on rotation because that's how they were taught.
I think that all clubs should have a small percentage of WtF on all shifts, like 10-15% of dancers per shift (if that high). As far as who's eligible, the priority should first go to those whose been working at the club the longest. If that is roughly the same, then whomever got to the club first. When the % is filled, then the dancer would have to wait for somebody to leave in order to take their place. I would even go so far as a dancer can work the floor no more than twice a week and the vets could switch WtF days with each other. Either that or increase house fees for WtF or that dancers could work the floor an hour or two before the end of their shifts. What do you guys think?

I even usually follow that progression for a dancer that I *know* I'm taking to VIP (because we've been before), just to get the motor running.
Many dancers by-pass dancing on stage because of the time they lose working the floor and because doing a 4-6 song set is just too much work for a few dollars in tips. Some dancers just hate the stage because of the hassel they get from some customers.
I have met great dancers who always rotate on stage and great ones who never go on stage. LDs are always a crap shoot anyway. You never know how they will turn out untill they are over.
At Plat Plus in Columbia, there is a young hot blonde who I have never seen on stage, but have gotten some memorable dances from her. Not sure if they have to pay extra to not go on stage, but like others said, I enjoy the preview for the low low cost of 1$.
I also agree with lopaw about clubs that make dancers giving lapdances go on stage. Any club that does this should be avoided.
Columbus Gold in Columbus, Ohio did that to me about five years ago, and I have never gotten a dance there since. Now I only go there if there is a feature I want to see, or once every year or if there is no features during that time to see if things are still the same. The last time I was there it was still the same.
This had never happened at that club before, but the first it occured was the last for me. When I complained to the manager about this, he said it's policy, and the only time dancers are taken off rotation is if they are giving a half hour dance.
