Not sure how much of a money maker GGG was but I wouldn't have thought that anyone would have wanted to resurrect it again. I know it got mostly foot traffic from Fremont and the curious types who had never been to a stripclub before. I'd been there a few times it was a tourist trap of the worst kind.

I was just discussing this with a rookie dancer a few days ago. She was complaining about how slow her club is. I told her to be patient and soon all of the holiday office parties would start and her income should increase exponentially.

@Subraman - yes I identify as lesbian and although most dancers assume that I am bi I do get treated as any other PL walking thru the door. Most realize that since I am alone I must be there to buy dances. It's a totally different dynamic than when I am with either a male companion or in a mixed group of people. @EveH - I monger in the LA/OC here in the SoCal area (as well as Vegas, Hawaii & Seattle) and have never had an issue entering a club. It's illegal to deny entrance to a woman simple because she IS a woman and a few lawsuits have been filed (and they have been won about this issue.) It continues in areas simply because no one has called them on it.....yet. :) @ theDirkDiggler - I have been told many times from dancers that they generally prefer dancing for polite respectful women. And dancers will often use girl customers as stage props since it can help to sell dances to guys who like girl/girl interaction. It's good business. No dancer has to cater to ANYONE. Each dancer decides for herself who she wants to dance for. Some love to dance for women, some don't. Plenty don;t dance for AA guys, or fat guys, or Indian guys, etc etc. The list goes on. As far as "strictly dickly" dancers go....I lost count of the number of straight dancers that have danced for me and some of them were so good I didn't believe that they weren't at least bisexual. But afterwards they told me they were staright. Do you really think that every straight dancer is sexually attracted to all of her male customers? Lol if you do I got some beachfront property in Arizona that I'd like to sell to you, lol.

It's funny but as a solo female clubber I have no trouble getting a lot of attention from strippers, tho I don't dress slutty coz it's not my thang. But on the rare times that I club with a male friend (in a club where they don't know me) I often run into the "couples syndrome" where dancers don't approach. I can really commiserate with couples for that reason. I have spoken with a lot of dancers why they don't like couples and it is for the very reasons that the OP listed - the female in the couple is too grabby and is often commando, which isn't viewed upon favorably.Couples are viewed as wanting to use strippers as foreplay (often roughly) or looking for a 3some to take home for the night so they are often pariahs in a stripclub.

OMG! That review was very well written and very surprising in it's outcome. With all of the pussy that I've eaten at stripclubs (and even more of them eating mine) I have never been thrown out or even scolded for any of it. I hope this doesn't turn you off to the idea for the future, Eve ;)

A major pro for me is finding an underground all-girl stripclub. They pop up every once in a while and word travels quickly thru the small lady monger population in my area. But sometimes just when you find out about one it's gone already.

What twentyfive said. That inner voice is there for a reason. I will venture into most any club, even some in very sketchy areas. As a female monger I rarely feel any fear (clubbing in the daytime helps with that, lol). But there are a few places with known violent pasts that I do avoid, like Sam's Haufbrau in DTLA for example. I always listen to that gut feeling, whether it's for a stripclub or a grocery store. Bad mojo is bad mojo regardless of the destination.

I have never seen a ladies room troll and for that I am grateful. But I have seen some horrifically disgusting ladies rooms in stripclubs so maybe they might not be a bad idea after all.

I noticed one of my fave clubs was unusually busy this afternoon but soon learned that it had nothing to do with BP and everything to do with the free buffet the club offered. As soon as the food ran out the place emptied. Damn moochers.
