Umm, unless I have just been to the gym, my "off the rack" hygiene is pretty good, without the need for any touch-up. On the other hand, I have a pretty sedentary job that doesn't lead to much sweating or other odor...inside work, no heavy lifting.
I might stop at a gas station on the way to a club and get some gum to chew before I go in the strip club, just for a breath check. Other than that, I'm good to go on a pretty constant basis.

Davids: Although you may take it as a put-down, it really isn't...with your zero-sum, "winner takes all" approach toward dancers, I sincerely wondered after reading one of your posts if your were an Ayn Rand-style objectivist.

Here I was debating whether to tell my sploog story, and it turns out that everybody has one. I visited a strip club under "perfect storm" conditions--I had had sort of a stressful day, topped off by not being able to find the club I was looking for, and "settling" for the one that I happened to drive past. I think there had been a little bit of a dry spell at home, as well. I got a lap dance from a short little brunette with huge fake double Ds...I'm surprised she didn't tip over. In any event, she put her mouth on my little lawyer (through my pants), and he proceeded to give his closing argument. I was so embarrassed that I immediately got up, paid her for the dance, and walked out of the club.
THe dancer in question ended up being one of my favorite dancers and, of course, the club ended up being Favorite Club.
As for wet spots, the good thing about wearing a suit is that you have a jacket to hold over your arm in front of you.

A dancer pullled down my pants and boxers, gave me a handjob, then rubbed my member on her wet belly. After all this happened, I became aware of the fact that I was in a rather crowded room, with another couple looking at me from a distance of about five feet, shocked looks on their faces.
The worst thing was that the dancer then took her money, got up and left the room, with me there in a crowded room, naked from waist to knees, with my moist member draped over my lower abdomen. Thank God my grandfather always taught me to carry a handkerchief.
I wondered why the dancer was so particular about where we sat...it turned out that (as most of you already knew) the space she had us sit was outside the range of the surveillance cameras.

I would only say that the only clubs where I have ever been propositioned for OTC activity were full contact clubs. OTC has never been suggested to me in clubs that have only one way contact, and I have thus far been lucky enough to have never darkened the door of a no-touch club. So..does that support the proposition that dancers will go to the "next level", however that is defined in any particular dancer's club?

Any place that interests me.
The upselling I usually experience is of the first variety. I don't resent it, because the truth is, I am getting the couch dance to see if I want to go to VIP with the girl. The central feature of my strip club experience is the VIP, with the ideal being that I'll find a 2-4 attractive, congenial women to spend time with in VIP. Also ideally, they will complement each other...a latina; a MILF type, a flat-chested tall young girl, etc. So, I don't resent the upselling, because I am doing the same thing...I am "upbuying,": first paying the cover to get to look at girls on the stage, to find an attractive one; the, tipping at the rail to get an attractive girl's attention, and to get her to spend some time at my table, then upgrading to a couch/lapdance to see if she is appropriate sensuous and GFE-like. Finally, at the end of this stage, we get the VIP-able girl, and the race is on.
This fits in with my overall theory of capitalistic business that the market clears when the buyer can get what he wants, and the seller can get a reasonable price for providing what the buyer wants. Contrast this to the "exploitation" theories posted by some denizens of this board.

Also, herpes transmission can be accomplished through skin to skin contact with areas around that genitals on which lesions are also found, such as the thighs.

I think an "extra" has to involve actual skin-to-skin (or skin-to-condom) contact with the genitals of one or both participants. So, it is not an extra if the dancer rubs your unit through your pants, regardless of where club rules/practice are on that (and obviously, in the U.S., "official" rules are going to be against it.) However, if the dancer takes JohnThomas out and plays with him, that would be an extra.

Never heard of that one. But when laps are $10, free just seems to be somehow...not right. I could see it at places where dances are $25, however.

1. Putting the goods right in my face (I'm probably in the minority on this one).
2. Dirty talk.
3. Cat-like purring
4. Taking off my glasses, other than to put them into my hand (i'm basically blind without them)
5. Taking off my glasses and rubbing them in the goods.
On the other hand, I like nipple biting/pinching, so I'm not sure there is any clear guidance for a dancer.

Thanks for the info. How does the mileage at 390 compare to Brad's (or, for that matter, to IS?)

I do know that I am far too likely to look at innocent women in public and think to myself, "she should really be a dancer."
I first felt that I was spending a lot of time in "the hobby" when the bartender at the club I frequent brought me the right kind of cocktail without first taking an order, and when the dancers remembered the name of the city from which I drive three hours to get to said club.

I am not generally into costumes, per se, on dancers..I like lingerie and/or gowns. However, I do like the Avril Lavigne look...plaid skirt, heavy eye makeup, etc. It is sort of a cross between the RC schoolgirl and punk look.

I DON'T like the bondage look--leather straps with chrome fasteners and D-rings, etc. Too strange for my tastes.

FONDL, my friend, her name is the LAST thing that I'm concerned about paying for. If the dancers are hot enough, they can go by numbers, as far as I am concerned.

"I can have just as much fun ITC for $150 as I did with her OTC. She did excellent full service but when it was over. It was over. Nothing to talk about."
That's depressing. If you don't have any more fun with her in your hotel room, away from the club, than you did at a crowded club, then I don't think the OTC was worth it.

I don't like tattoos at all, nor do I like nipple piecings. On another board which many of us frequent, I voiced my dislike for tattoos. This led to many flamings, along the lines of, " I like it, I know that some customers, including older guys who spend a lot, don't like them, but that's too bad." That led me to wonder if the dancers who made these statements are willing to do anything to accomodate the clientele, as we lesser mortals are known to do (about five thousand times during each working day.)

How old?
When you are dead, or when you are broke, whichever comes first.
Let us not forget my colleague Pierce Marshall, who picked up future bride Anna Nicole Smith (a/k/a "Sweet Cheeks") from a strip club in Dallas when he was in his 90s and had to be wheeled in.

I join in the consensus on this topic. It is risky to initiate the discussion about extras, and at best probably counterproductive. Any time that I have been in a situation that led to OTC, the dancer suggested it, usually along the lines of saying that we should go out sometime, or similar comments that, to an objective observer (such as LE) could be construed as a non-commercial communication (although I have always taken it as such).
I agree with AB that there are some real safety concerns to be considered, especially if one is an out of town businessman hitting an unfamiliar club. I am amazed at the guys who will go to a dancer's residence, at which they are completely vulnerable to any potential set up. I am even a little leery of hotels that have separate entrances to each room directly from outside (such as Red Roof Inns), as opposed to those that involve entering the rooms from an interior hallway.
Remember the words of that contemporary English philosopher Elton John:
You feel her nails scratch your back just like a rake/
That's one dude gone/
Just one more john who made a mistake.

I am almost always at clubs during the work week, which means suit and tie. I have been impressed at the fact that I have never gotten shit from other customers or club personnel about this, regardless of the type of club I have gone to.
An interesting experience with a club in the Kansas CIty area. The first time I went, I came into town the night before, was casually dressed for the long drive, and went straight to the club in dockers and a polo shirt, with a hoodie on top. Virtually no attention (admittedly, the club was very crowded). Next visit, went at the end of the business day, in a Hickey-Freeman special and wingtips. The club was equally crowded, and the dancers were all over me.
Twain: "Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no place in modern society." (I don't share that, or any other Churchill/Shaw/Twain/Truman/Lincon/Biblical quote anywhere near a strip club.)
