Shadow, here is an exerpt from a recent TJ trip that I posted on another board. The bar in question is La Botana:

No, there is nothing wrong. It merely reflects the very strong social stigma agaisnt working as a stripper. I would bet that only about 5% of women would consider working as a stripper, and for the remaining 95%, the feeling against such employment is very strong; revulsion or disgust is probably not too strong a way of putting it. Therefore, you will see a lot of women in US society at large who are better looking than many strippers, and could make more money as strippers than at their current employment, but won't even consider it.
Let's face it--strip clubs don't hire the most attractive women that there are; they hire the most attractive women who will consider doing that kind of work.

I've been going to fewer US strip clubs since I started making quarterly trips to TJ. I'm afraid that I am what would be called an "extras guy" in US strip clubs. After I first went to TJ, where everything is on the table, I lost patience for "the dance" of US clubs, where you might spend trip after trip in what turns out to be a futile search for a truly satifying experience. As a consequence, my US strip club visits are limited, not by money, but by interest, to approx. a visit a month to a local club, and quarterly trips to TJ. The good side of this is that I have gone from a couple strip club visits a week, at about $200-250 per, to four TJ trips a year, at about $1250 a trip, incl. hotel and airfare.
TJ whorehouses don't cost...they pay!!!

I don't think I've ever gone to a strip club with anyone, although I've sometimes met up with friends at the club. I have only witnessed three physical fights in strip clubs, and two were between/among the dancers. The other, at Brad's BF in Indy, was handled very professionally by management (off-duty cop cold-cocked a guy in a wheelchair over a pool table), and was really over almost as soon as it started.
I have certainly witnessed a lot more fights in "straight" bars than in strip clubs, and I have never felt in personal danger, although I have gone to clubs in some sketchy places.

Either club is fine. Adelita's has a wide variety of girls. It is a more comfortable place just to hang out. Hong Kong has a little bit of pretension to being like a US "gentlemen's club". The girls are a little better looking, on average, that at Adelita's, but there are some girls who don't go upstairs for sex. Also, you have to have a tolerance for loud music, as the djs and live bands play at a pretty high volume.
Of late, I have stopped going to these "usual suspect" bars, and have started to going to the smaller bars, where there is a wider range of expected results (home run v. complete disaster), but the possible high side is higher.

I go very rarely since I discovered Tijuana. I have gone from a couple of times a week to about once a month. Once I discovered the "sure thing" of Tijuana, I no longer had the patience for the game-playing and guesswork involved in going to strip clubs. Some of my colleagues on this board like the thrill of the pursuit and playing the game, and I commend them for it. For myself, I would rather go to the whorehouses/clubs of TJ once every three months or so (my usual interval) than to a US strip club twice a week.
As a collateral benefit, I save a lot of money, since I was dropping about $200 every strip club visit, and a trip to TJ costs me about $1,200, including air fare.

Your place--as said above, too much chance of being set up for a robbery later. The porn actress Bianca Trump is currently in jail b/c she used escort outcalls as a way to case a residence for a couple of friends of hers to hit later. And it's bad policy to let anyone know where you live if you aren't comfortable with them showing up and any time, pre-arranged or not. Do you really want Peaches stopping by while you are having a nice home-cooked supper with your sister and her husband and kids?

A hotel of your choosing is fairly safe. You should not go to a hotel of her choosing, because she might use it regularly for outcalls, and LE might have drawn a bead on her and her room.

I also am a fan of Indian women, but have never seen one dancing. The closest I came was a hot Iranian dancer, 19 years old, at Oasis in Atlanta.
I went to a college with a lot of Indians (heavy enrollment in business and engineering), and I agree that they are very conservative. They are also somewhat insular socially. Even though I had a very active social life in college, I only got two Indian girls to go out with me--they tend to stick together.

Got covered full service at a club during a late afternoon visit. Didn't think much about the used condom.
On my way home decided to get a bite to eat, carryout. As I was walking through the foyer of the restaurant, to the counter area, I felt the condom work its way out of my pants leg, onto the tile floor of the foyer. As far as I know, no one saw it fall it out. It was getting dark, but there were a lot of people coming and going (no one in the foyer with me at the precise moment that the comdom fell out).
Moral dilemma: what to do? pick it up, and implicitly assume responsibility for it? Or be a douche, and just let it lie there, like pretending that you weren't the one who cut a big fart in a crown.
Of course, I just sailed past the used scumbag, leaving some family with young children to notice it, and some poor minimum wage staff member to attend to it.
Given the girl I had been with at the strip club, I hope they laid down a little bleach after picking up the condom.

I have had one STD in my life...in college, when I caught a raging case of chlamydia from a sweet 18 year old farm girl who lived in the Women's Baptist Student Residence, and was regularly carrying junk between me (who she fucked during the week at college) and her home town farmboy boyfriend (who she fucked on the weekends, when she went home).
I have never caught anything from a stripper.
My advice: for optimal sexual health, hang with strippers, and avoid 18 year old farm girls from Central Illinois.

Actually, in Illinois, solicitation of a prostitute, the original charge, is also a misdemeanor. However, "disorderly conduct" can refer to almost anything, and has no clear sexual overtones. A friend of mine had a client who was caught in a prostitution sting after 28 years of public school teaching. If the schoolteacher/client was convicted of solicitation of a prostitute(incl. conviction pursuant to a guilty plea, he would have lost his pension. My friend worked out a deal whereby the schoolteacher instead plead guilty to disorderly conduct. Although the fine for disorderly conduct was $1,000 more than for solicitation of a prostitute, the deal save the teacher's pension--not a bad result, in my opinion.

You can find some really good looking women at Adelita's, but if looks are your main criterion, you should go to Hong Kong. There are also some good looking women to be found across the street at Tropical.
A drawback with a lot of the Adelita's women is that they have plastic surgery, esp. boob and ass implants.

This happened to me once, at the old "Main Street" in Washington Park, IL. The club turned out to be a front/money laundering operation for a video-poker scam, and was seized by the feds. The building is now the village public library.

See my post below. I was never in this situation until about two weeks, when I picked up a stripper in Tijuana. Before it happened, I would have said that I would definitely NOT sleep in the same room as a strange women I had only met several hours before. However, we had such a mind-blowing GFE that it seemed only natural to fall asleep together. We fell asleep in each other's arms, our bodies so tightly entwined that I probably would have noticed if she had gotten out of bed. We stayed that way all night, until we woke in the morning, had a second round, went down to the hotel dining room for breakfast, then returned to the room for a shower and a third round, then watched TV, cuddled in bed and talked until check-out time.
The chances of this experience happening again are probably about one percent, to use Shadow's number. I would likely NOT repeat, because I don't see future similar situations working out in the same way.

You are right about having to watch my wallet. Fortunately, I had some opportunity to protect myself. I made arrangements to pick her up at the end of her shift, about three hours after we set it up. I then went back to my hotel to take a nap, and while I was there, I put almost all my money, my credit card, and my passport in the in-room safe. I then went back to the club at the end of her shift to pick her up and take her back to the hotel.
Even if she had tried to rob me, there wasn't much she could have taken. As long as I have my money and passport, I can back home.
I guess she might have gotten pissed and stolen my clothes, but that would have raised different issues.

I think that your number is for Mexico as a whole.
According to the Attorney General for Baja California, the figure for Tijuana will be at least 843 for this year.
Proportionately with population, this is less than for New Orleans. I have never, in six visits to TJ, seen any signs of violence. I recently saw a map that identified all the places in TJ in which murders have occurred. None was any closer than eight blocks to the "red light district."
But I do take seriously the advice of others, and am always careful when I am in TJ.
On my last trip, I picked up a dancer in a night club and took her back to my hotel room all night for $200.00 .. Priceless.

I have never met a stripper who heard of this site, and I have probably asked 20 or so over the years. I've had a couple look it up after I mentioned it, and they are put off by the cost. Many strippers have heard of stripclublist.com, which is free, but is full of immature dancers and customers who spend most of their time flaming each other.

I was last at a strip club in the US about six weeks ago, the day after Thanksgiving--Hollywood, Washington Park (East St. Louis).
The last time I was in ANY strip club was about three weeks ago, in Tijuana, Mexico--Hong Kong, Chicago, Bar Tropical, Adelita's.

Here is a very graphic test, but I will stand by it:
Immediately before your next trip to the club, jack off.
If, when you get to the club, you are still interested in fucking her, go for it.
If, when you get to the club, you have no interest in fucking her, then by definition she is no better than jacking off, and you should forget about it.
Sorry for such a graphic suggestion, but I think this method gets to the heart of the matter in a very direct way.
